RV Description

Well-maintained 2010 Coachmen Freelander with only 34,517 miles and less than 5,000 miles driven since every major mechanical service was completed. This is a low-mileage, mechanically sorted Class C that's ready to camp, not a project.

Recent maintenance and upgrades include:

Brand-new tires (September 2025), a complete drum brake rebuild and front brake service (2024), and a brand-new A/C unit (2024) mean the big-ticket items are already handled. SumoSprings were added to the chassis in 2022 and made a dramatic, noticeable improvement to handling and stability on the road.

Inside, this coach has been upgraded well beyond stock. Both sleeping areas got custom mattresses built by Spencer Mattress Company in Ventura a firm 10" mattress in the rear bedroom and a custom memory foam topper for the cab-over bed a night-and-day difference from the mattresses these coaches ship with. The coach battery was upgraded from the original single battery to two high-capacity golf cart batteries for true deep-cycle power, and every interior bulb has been converted to LED, making this a much more capable rig for boondocking and off-grid camping.

Up front, the stereo was replaced with an aftermarket Apple CarPlay head unit paired with upgraded speakers and tweeters, and a color night-vision backup camera was hardwired directly into the CarPlay display not a wireless add-on, but a true hardwired system that activates automatically in reverse, just like a factory setup.

Other thoughtful additions: a custom outdoor shower at the rear of the coach with both hot and cold water, a new Fantech fan over the rear bed with remote control, reverse airflow, and automatic temperature sensing, and a 12-foot awning that extends and retracts perfectly. The rear storage bay is cavernous easily swallows paddleboards, bikes, or other bulky gear.

The roof was resealed with auto-leveling sealant about 2.5 years ago. There's some cosmetic wear visible, but the coach is fully leak-free and watertight.

This Freelander has been well cared for and is mechanically ready for its next adventure. Serious inquiries welcome happy to answer questions or schedule a viewing.
