The 2018 Grand Design Solitude is a luxurious fifth wheel designed for spacious living and comfortable travel. We have updated the sofa sleeper and double recliners with Kathy Ireland pieces in a medium tan that is in perfect condition with no factory peeling pleather! Additionally the built in side rests have been replaced with matching two drawer end tables on each side of the sofa. There is also a television on an televator above the electric fireplace that provides a relaxing atmosphere while also providing a warming heat source.

Equipped with all the necessary appliances and comforts, such as a full kitchen with new residential refrigerator with ice maker and an over the top convection microwave that is vented to the outside reducing any heat buildup inside. There is a long window behind the 3 burner propane stove and the factory blind has been replaced with a new blind behind the wooden trim. We have updated both the kitchen faucet and bathroom faucets to residential quality units along with a new china bowl on the bathroom vanity. Additionally in the bath there was an wasted storage cabinet behind the shower that was narrow and deep and basically useless. Take a look at the pictures in the bath to see the deluxe sliding storage unit installed. All plumbing has been updated to Pex and shut off valves installed to isolate in the event of a leak. In place of one cartridge filter housing you now have two for better water filtration for sediment, taste and odor. Additionally there is a drinking water spout on the kitchen sink with a third filter for pure tasting water and eliminating the need to carry heavy bottles of water and reducing plastic recycling.

The spacious bedroom offers a comfortable queen-size bed with enhanced bedside ledges so there is a place to put your glasses or your laptop when youre ready to turn in. The semi curved closet with two sliding doors provides adequate hanging and shelf space for your clothes. The dresser at the foot of the bed features 6 drawers. But all of this storage space is doubled with the stacked washer and dryer unit right in the bedroom closet so youre never out of clean clothes. There is a handy chest under the bed, which we use as a hamper along with the storage space if you lift the mattress.

The exterior of the Grand Design Solitude is just as impressive, with a sleek and modern design that turns heads wherever you go. The fifth wheel is built to last, with high-quality materials and construction that ensure durability and longevity. Both slide toppers have been replaced along with two new automatic awnings. Solitude is also equipped with 6 hydraulic leveling jacks which can be controlled from inside or outside. We just replaced the $800 inside control panel as it was having issues giving you peace of mind it is good for many additional years of service. The exterior is waxed twice a year, the roof was just sealed with Tropical roof sealer to prevent any problems from developing. Currently there are no leaks or issues aware of.
