2022 Newmar Dutch Star 4081. 40' 10" long. The Newmar Dutch Star is the #1 selling diesel motorcoach in the country. The 4081 is one of their two most popular floor plans. The 40' Dutch Stars are also the only 40' motorhomes in the marketplace equipped with a tag axle. This makes a huge difference in ride and drive quality, stability, and significantly increases towing tongue weight capacity.

This one still has the balance of the Spartan chassis/Cummins engine/Allison transmission warranties, for 100K miles or until November 18, 2026.

Beautiful special ordered custom exterior colors. (Likely 1 of 1). (refreshingly, a coach that isn't silver, gray, and black like everyone else's) Wylie interior décor package. Toffee glazed maple hardwood high gloss cabinetry.

This one is built on the optional, extra cost Spartan chassis, known to be more robust than the standard Freightliner chassis.

Condition:

I am OCD when it comes to my equipment. We are both non-smokers/never smoked in. Our only pet is our miniature Schnauzer mix. He has hair (that needs to be cut regularly), not fir (that sheds), so no dander. He gets groomed every 4 weeks, so he brings no negative effects to the coach whatsoever. Sleep number bed mattress always covered with a mattress cover/protector and washed regularly to maintain the mattress in like new condition. Comes with extra brand new correct factory comforter still in the original sealed box from Newmar. Coach still smells new, no unusual or objectionable odors.

Accident and damage free. Clean Carfax report. Only blemish is a paint chip the size of a dime from when I got too close to the coach with my motorcycle while walking it past the coach. I touched it up with the touchup paint/brush that comes with the coach. Looks fine, but not professional body shop perfect. Stored indoors or under covered storage for all but 14 months while we stayed in it during our sticks and bricks home renovation. All tires are original and in great shape at around 4 years old. We have the MagneShade tire covers for when its not under cover. All batteries (both coach and chassis) are original and in great shape as we always store the coach plugged in and maintained by the coach's charging system.

Shake down:

All new coaches, regardless of brand, model, or price have shakedown issues to be discovered and corrected. I started out my work life as an A.S.E. certified master mechanic after full time technical school training. I have the eye and the ear to notice things most folks might miss, and the ability to make sure its fixed right. Lets just say this one has been shaken down to a completely different level than most all others. All resolved during 3 separate trips to the Newmar factory service center in Nappanee, Indiana. Arguably the most perfect 3 year old coach on the market today. Of course, an independent inspection by your choice of qualified RV inspectors is encouraged. This one is completely ready to jump in and go camping!

Things Ive added:

Micro-Air Easy-Touch House thermostat. Allows WIFI and Bluetooth access and much more programming flexibility.

RV Whisper. Monitors interior temperature and battery voltage remotely via WIFI. Very handy if we leave Barney in the coach while we do a hike or whatever. It sends alerts to your phone if temperature or battery voltage go out of preset limits. The battery voltage alert is better than just a temperature alert because should the coach lose shore power, the battery voltage drops immediately from around 13.2 down to about 12.5 as it is no longer receiving a charge. This happens immediately, whereas temp alerts would take a while before inside temperature changed enough the trigger an alert. This would give us more time to respond.

LED headlight bulbs. Massive improvement in night driving lighting. These coaches come with old school halogen bulbs. They sucked.

Koni front shocks. The standard Bilsteins were just not up to the task on some roads. Awesome upgrade.

Front cabin stereo speakers replaced/upgraded. The coach comes with a decent factory radio, but the stock speakers were incapable of letting most of the sound out. Great upgrade!

MagneShade windshield cover. Blocks almost all of the heat gain from the sun from getting TO the windshield in the first place. Much easier to manage the A/Cs here in Phoenix.

MagneShade tire covers. Simply the best tire covers available.

Fabricated and installed an extra storage shelf over one of the roll out storage trays in the basement, turning wasted space into room for a pair of zero gravity chairs. (chairs do not convey)

Fabricated and installed a glare blocker to the inside of the left A pillar. Completely blocks an otherwise disconcerting reflection in your drivers side outside mirror of what is actually happening on the road to the right front of the coach. (sounds crazy, but you can thank me later)

Newmar cockpit carpet.

Maintenance:

All maintenance services have been performed on time and are up to date. Copies of all records come with the coach. All but the most recent chassis service were performed at the Newmar factory service center in Nappanee, IN.

Why I'm selling:

This Dutch Star is our second Newmar coach, and we have just ordered a new 2026 Newmar London Aire to be built late this summer. This Dutch Star is way too nice to trade in to a dealership. Unlike many used coaches for sale at dealerships, this one won't be traded in to get rid of problems. It will not disappoint.

Selling details:

Private owner. I have clear title in hand. I do not provide any financing or take trades. Cashiers check from a nationally recognized bank or wire transfer from same prior to title sign over and pickup.
