We lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma when we purchased our Airstream from the original owners at the end of 2010 when planning retirement. It had 83,000 miles on it and now has 153,386. They were meticulous with care and kept a maintenance log since it was new We continued the same log. They also kept a trip log from the beginning and as we have done. We have all the original manuals.After purchase we began our adventures in retirement. We took a maiden trip to Sanibel Island, Florida. Thereafter we spent the months of December-March in Sanibel and rotated with the season to spend July-September in the Rocky Mountains where we did the high country jeep trails in our Grand Cherokee which we tow behind the MH. We interspersed these summer trips with trips to Lake Tahoe, Crater Lake, the Oregon Coast, Washington, Banff & Lake Louise, and a summer trip to Eastern Canada and Newfoundland. We spent the last three winters Palm Springs California at Desert Shadows RV Park.The upholstery has been updated with Sunbrella fabric and coordinated it with the other colors of the motorhome. We replaced all of the carpet with original color and type; living room and bedroom televisions were changed from analog to LCD; water pump replaced; vehicle radio updated; toilet replaced; front tires replaced in 2018, rears in 2020; four house batteries replaced 2020 and two chassis batteries replaced in 2023; exterior paint touched up; creeping seals on windows replaced; Power Jack leveling system and step motor replaced. The chassis systems and Onan diesel generator have been regularly serviced by either Freightliner, Cummins, or Transwest RV.
