Yes, $550,000 for a 2003. We know the first reaction is an eye-roll. Before you scroll past, here is why the price is what it is, and how you can prove it to yourself before you spend a dollar.

You are not buying a tired 23-year-old coach. You are buying 35,015 original miles, about 1,500 a year, on a pre-EGR Detroit Series 60, a powertrain you can no longer buy new at any price. It never sat neglected. It was stored indoors and plugged in whenever it was not in use. It had a single owner, a seasoned multiple-coach owner who also ran a fleet of Class 8 trucks, and his company maintained it on his behalf. It was his pride and joy.

You are also not buying someone else's to-do list. $83,728 in receipted work has gone in over the past three months. Then we took it back to Featherlite, the company that built it, for a full pre-delivery inspection (PDI). That $1,000 inspection covers 150 points, and the worksheet is posted for you to read.

And you don't have to take our word for any of it. The buyer gets four nights and five days with the coach at Tradewinds Coach and Marine in DeLand, FL. Sleep in it. Run the generator, the Aqua-Hot, the slides and every system, with the technicians who just serviced it close by. You confirm everything works before you drive away.

Compare that with a newer coach at a similar price, or with what it costs to bring a neglected one up to this standard, and the number starts to make sense. This is not a project. Take delivery and go.
