RV Description
This is a Classic 1979 Ford Hanalei by El Dorado Motorhome, compact 22 footer, made in the USA with plenty of space, but still manageable. This RV has been rarely used and is in great shape for its age with super low milage (39K)! I am the second owner and Ive only had it for a few years. I know for fact it can make it to Branson, Missouri and back! That was the longest trip we took in it.
Class C model motorhome, Automatic with a 351 smaller V8. Sleeps 6-8 people. It has the cabover bed and the dinette table and rear couch transform in to beds as well. Full kitchen with sink, gas stove, top burners, refrigerator, roof top air conditioner and heater in the rear, booth table, bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, Flat screen DVD and TV, crank up antenna, rear fold down sofa, Nice condition original retro orange shag carpet and factory painted stripes. In the cockpit theres a vintage CB radio and Sanyo tape deck stereo, power steering and power brakes, super plush comfortable velvet seats, lots of drawers and closet space, interior lights, great view windows, it has two fuel tanks, fresh water and gray sewer holding tanks, propane tank, cargo compartments, has a solar panel that recharges the accessories battery. No external generator, dually 16 wheels in rear provide more stability, Tow package.
I have put a huge amount of time and money into this. I bought it for my dad and I to take out, which we did, but now I find myself not using it. Heres a partial list of new, upgraded or added items:
Camper: so much has been done for upgrades and maintenance:
New AC, heater runs great!
New Kitchen faucet, lighting fixtures, over cab vent.
Custom cabinet covers, curtains, cushions, partitions (meaning I made them!)
Bathroom completely redone including pipes underneath
Leaks have been sealed (I cant guarantee all of them but I think so.)
Brand new door lock
Water pump replaced
Shelf in closet included
Truck:
All new tires and rims!!
All new dual gas tanks and lines and filters!!! (one of the fuel gauges is out)
New fuel pump and hoses
Locking gas caps installed
New belts
New brakes
Back up camera installed!
Recently rebuilt the carburetor
I am including the appliances I bought for this. They are all either brand new and never used or used only once or twice: microwave, air fryer, toaster oven, coffee pot, water pot, can opener. Refrigerator, rice cooker. Includes some dishes, pots and pans, oven ware, silverware, cooking utensils,
Refrigerator the refrig doesnt work. I just used it as dry good storage. I bought a small floor model refrig that works just perfectly in the cubby by the couch. It sort of doubles as an end table!
Tons of extras! All hoses, drains, electric, circuit analyzer, cables, water, gray/black water hoses, sidewinder, sandbags, new rug, smoke/gas detectors, extension ladder, levelers,
I dont know:
The CB and the tape deck I dont know about either.
Currently Registered and Smogged. I have the clear title. BUT
It is going to need some parts for the air filter to pass smog. They are cheap parts I know where to buy them and the mechanic to do the work and smog it for you. If you are a mechanic you can probably do the work cheaply yourself (my mechanic says!) You assume this upon purchase, and sign an agreement. You can also non-op it and live in it very comfortably, or resister out of state.
I have done or had done lot of work on this. All paperwork is available, listing work done, dates, etc. Everything I have on here is true as what I know to be.
Shes a great ride. But shes also great for just parking and living in. Everything is here for that. She is vintage, so she may need a little TLC once in a while. Seriously - she runs great and looks great!
