RV Description

2005 Itasca Meridian 36G Diesel Pusher, Cat C7 350HP, 74K Miles
Freightliner XC Chassis | No DEF, No Roof-Rubber

Asking $39,900 Priced firm to sell, no dealer fees, clean title in hand
If youve been searching for a diesel pusher that was actually well engineered and then cared for right, this is it. This 36G is a rare combination: a factory-upgraded coach from Winnebagos high-water mark years, backed by a Caterpillar C7, and finished off with a genuinely thoughtful interior refresh that is very rare.

The Bones This Coach Was Built Different
Caterpillar C7, 350HP Pre-Emission, No DEF No urea tanks, no DEF sensors, no emissions-system headaches. Just a proven, simple, torquey Cat diesel that easily run for 500,000+ miles. Coach has exercised about 3500 miles per year on average which is healthy for a diesel - not stored and sitting. This Cat engine was a factory upgrade, as opposed to the lesser Cummins 300HP.

Freightliner XC Chassis the gold standard for ride quality and long-term parts support in this class.
One-Piece Fiberglass Roof - Most coaches from this era used rubber (EPDM/TPO) roofing, which dries out, chalks, and is prone to splitting over time especially at the roof-to-sidewall seam. This coach has a crowned, one-piece fiberglass roof instead. It still has a roof-to-sidewall seam but fiberglass holds up far better than rubber over the long haul and as far as known, this coach shows no splits or leaks; its watertight. Still, as with any RV this age, a buyer doing due diligence should always ask about and inspect the roof directly.

Coleman-Mach Residential Basement Air - This is a feature many people dont know to look for. Instead of a noisy rooftop AC unit (or 2, or 3), the entire heating and cooling plant lives in the basement which means: - a clean, low-profile roofline - overall clearance around 115 clears low tree and overhead canopies more effectively. Quieter operation inside the coach. Fully serviced and blowing ice-cold.

StoreMore Slide-Out Storage (Driver-Side Living Room Slide) Winnebagos clever engineering: the exterior cargo bay slides out with the room. No crawling under an extended slide to dig out your camp chairs or gear the storage comes to you.

Full-Coverage Factory Awning Package A rare find. Most coaches this age have one awning, maybe two. This one has shade over every house window, plus the entrance door and the main patio a factory upgrade package that most 36Gs never got. Set this rig up at camp and its wrapped in shade on every side: less A/C load, cooler interior, and a serious curb-appeal edge. All awning fabric main power patio awning, power entrance door awning, and every window awning is in excellent shape with little to no fading.

Basement heat/AC heat pump system fully serviced verified blowing strong and cold
Batteries all test at good voltage
Toyo tires low mileage, always covered and coach weight off-loaded when parked or stored.
Recent Service (Fresh, Documented)
Oil and fluid services performed 4,000 miles ago
Brand-new chassis AC compressor installed last week
Generator oil and filter serviced ~8 hours of runtime ago; runs perfectly
Some Disclosures Exterior paint and body show normal age: a few small areas of dulled or cracking clear coat and minor scratches. The interior, by contrast, is close to pristine thanks to the refresh above. This coach has been used and loved, not abused and priced/represented accordingly. The water heater has a slow, pressurized-only drip that was present when the coach was purchased 6 years ago. It has never affected function or hot water performance and has never required repair noted here simply so buyers have full known transparency.
