RV Description

2026 Keystone Coleman 17R Immaculate, Barely Used, Thoughtfully Upgraded & Ready to Camp!

SEE 10 MIN WALKTHROUGH VID FOR DETAILS!

We loved this camper so much... we bought another one! Seriously.

Before you wonder why we're selling a practically brand-new 2026 Keystone Coleman 17R, watch the first 15 seconds of my video. You'll see our brand-new Coleman 25R parked right beside it. That's the whole story!

We purchased this 17R brand-new on April 10, 2026, as our introduction to RV ownership. We wanted to see if we'd enjoy the camping lifestyle before committing to something larger.

Well, we absolutely loved it. A little TOO much, apparently.

After spending the summer enjoying this camper, working remotely from beautiful places in Colorado, and discovering just how much we liked having our own little home on wheels, we decided we wanted more room. So we upgraded to the larger 2026 Coleman 25R with a slide-out.

We're not selling because something went wrong. We're selling because everything went RIGHT!

The Condition? We're Those People.

My wife and I are in our 50s, and we're borderline obsessive about taking care of our belongings. I'm the guy who puts rugs down to protect brand-new flooring, keeps everything spotless, and notices every little detail.

This camper has received that same treatment since the day we brought it home.

A few things that tell you how well it's been cared for:

No children or pets have EVER set foot inside this RV. Not once.
The original queen mattress has NEVER been slept on. We removed it immediately, stored it safely, and used our own upgraded foam mattress. The original is back in place, essentially unused.
The microwave has NEVER been used. We don't use microwaves at home, either.
The refrigerator is immaculate. Some of the original protective tape is still on the shelves!
The flooring is beautiful. We used protective rugs from day one. No scratches from camping chairs, shoes, pets, or everyday traffic.
The dinette looks practically untouched. We spent most of our time outdoors rather than sitting inside.
The bathroom, shower, kitchen, cabinets, appliances, and upholstery are exceptionally clean.
Everything operates as it should. The heating system, air conditioner, refrigerator, stove, tankless water heater, plumbing, electrical components, and power awning are all functional.

This RV has been gently used by two adults who genuinely take pride in maintaining their things. We primarily used it as a comfortable base camp for working remotely and enjoying the Colorado outdoors.

It's not a camper that's been lived in full-time, beaten up, or neglected.

Thoughtful Upgrades You'll Appreciate

We made a few practical improvements that make this 17R even nicer than when we purchased it.

Four stabilizer jacks instead of two. The factory provided rear stabilizers, but I installed an additional pair up front. That means all four corners can be stabilized, making the trailer noticeably more solid and comfortable once you're parked. I operate them with a cordless drill, and setup is incredibly quick.

Upgraded showerhead and shower curtain. We replaced the original showerhead with a nicer one and added a better-looking shower curtain. The shower works beautifully, and the tankless hot water system has been fantastic.

Custom magnetic LED lighting. We added three convenient magnetic lights, including two near the bed and one above the dinette. They're adjustable for brightness and color temperature, giving the interior a much warmer, more comfortable atmosphere than the standard overhead LEDs.

Bathroom door mirror. An additional convenience that stays with the trailer.

Improved water heater access-door closure. I added discreet magnets to help keep the exterior access door securely closed.

Additional leveling convenience. Small details that make arriving, setting up, and enjoying a campsite easier.

These aren't modifications to fix problems with the trailer. They're the little improvements we made because we enjoyed using it and wanted everything just right.

Small Enough to Tow Easily. Big Enough to Enjoy.

The Coleman 17R is a fantastic layout for a couple, solo traveler, or someone looking for a manageable, comfortable camper without the size and complexity of a large travel trailer.

At approximately 20 feet 5 inches long and just over 3,000 pounds dry, it's a wonderfully manageable size when paired with an appropriately rated tow vehicle.

You get a surprising amount of comfort in a compact footprint:

Dedicated queen bed with convenient bedside charging

Comfortable dinette with a removable, folding-leg table

Full rear bathroom with shower and toilet

Tankless hot water heater

Air conditioning and an impressively effective furnace

Two-burner gas cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator

Ample interior cabinets and exterior pass-through storage

Power awning for relaxing outdoors

Single-axle design without a slide-out to maintain

We found it to be an ideal little getaway camper. Easy to set up, comfortable to sleep in, warm on chilly Colorado nights, and equipped with everything we needed.

Quite frankly, if we hadn't decided we wanted the extra room of the 25R, we'd happily keep using it.

Watch the video. I walk through practically the entire camper, inside and out.

You'll see the bed, dinette, kitchen, appliances, cabinets, bathroom, shower, flooring, exterior storage, hitch, stabilizers, and more.

I also point out a couple of minor cosmetic imperfections because I believe in being completely transparent.

There is a small, shallow crease/dent in the exterior siding caused by a branch at a campsite. It is cosmetic, with no puncture or hole.

There are also a few small stone-impact dimples on the front of the trailer. Those were actually present when we purchased it, caused during delivery to the dealership. We received a small discount at purchase because of them. Again, no punctures or penetration.

I show these areas in the video rather than trying to hide them. They're minor cosmetic details, not operational problems.

The exterior also has some ordinary Colorado road dust in the recording. We live at high elevation on well water, and I filmed the walkthrough before giving the exterior its final cleaning.

I'd rather show you the RV as it really is than create a carefully staged video that avoids anything imperfect.

Extra Equipment Available

I'm also willing to include some valuable extras with the right deal:

Weight-distribution hitch: Already configured for this trailer and adjustable to your tow vehicle.

Spare tire: Available to include with the sale.

Propane tank: The trailer will have its standard 20-pound propane tank rather than the larger personal tank shown during part of the video.

Those extras can make getting started significantly easier, especially for a first-time travel trailer owner.
