If you’re looking for a well-built travel trailer with a roomy floor plan without getting into something overly large, this 2012 North Country by Heartland is a great option. At 28’ 8” total length with one large slide out, it offers plenty of living space while still being a manageable size to tow.

The layout is very open with the slide-out opening up the main living area. In the rear is the kitchen with good counter space, cabinetry and storage. The living area features a sofa and a large U-shaped dinette that provides plenty of seating and can also be used for additional sleeping space.

Moving forward, you have a full bathroom with a separate shower, toilet, sink and storage. Up front is the private master bedroom with a walk-around bed and wardrobe/storage space on both sides.

One of the nicest features of this floor plan is the two entry/exit doors, including a separate entrance directly into the front bedroom. This is especially convenient when traveling with multiple people.

Heartland is known for building quality RVs, and the North Country line gives you a comfortable, practical layout with plenty of usable space and storage. This would make a great trailer for camping, extended trips, or even longer-term use.
