RV Description
This beautiful "one of a kind" garage kept Tiffin Breeze 33 BR with only 2,870 miles, has never been camped even one day, and therefore remains in pristine showroom condition. This "Mike Mas" coach has under-gone dozens of improvements and upgrades for nearly a year.
This special Class A coach includes a professional 9,216 watt hour $87,000 Xantrex lithium battery and solar system, complete with Victron engine charging and chassis battery charging system. This lithium system allows over-night operation of the roof AC unit, for rest stop or Wal-Mart over-night camping, without using the generator. This coach is owned and custom improved by "RV lithium system designer Mike Mas" who has designed RV lithium systems for two decades for RV manufactures such as Renegade RV, Xantrex, Victron and Lithionics Battery and many others. Please visit Mikes lithium website at www.rvvolt.com
This sharp looking coach sports a beautiful black and red graphic paint job offering a high--end expensive look. The coach was also special ordered from the factory with "One of a kind" custom White Linen real wood interior, providing a new open and roomy look when compared to other Breeze models with old fashioned wood style walls and cabinets.
This beautiful coach is sits on a custom built PowerGlide chassis designed and manufactured by Tiffin Motorhomes. Unlike most motorhomes which use a single bar front axle, The breeze rides on independent front suspension, so a road imperfections only effects one wheel not both nor the steering. This chassis offers an "Active Air" air bag suspension, so all four wheels level themselves as you travel, providing one of the smoothest rides on any RV. The active air system also allows lifting or lowering the entire coach for fitting under obstructions. It also lifts the coach to avoid rear bottoming out, when encountering entrance curves or parking lots. When parked overnight, the Active Air system also levels the coach. If adjustment is needed a small 12 volt air pump keeps the coach level. The biggest benefit to the breeze is her beautiful and dependable 6.7 L Cummins diesel engine which is the most dependable engine on the road. Complementing the coach further is the Breezes Allison 6 (actually 8 speeds) transmission, the most dependable transmission on the highway today.
Improvements - There are dozens of vital and expensive improvements and upgrades, such as a factory style macerator system, which avoids the owner getting on his knees and dealing with the horrid 4 sewer hose. Just pull out a small one inch hose, open the valves and flip a switch. This coach also employs an important Egress Safety improvement. Regretfully, every factory built Breeze only has a mere 4" of walking space to reach the galley and bath, because the dining table blocks egress. For this reason, the table has been modified to allow the owner ample free space to walk back for access or an emergency.
Other improvements include the installation of a 36 electric fireplace. This coach also includes an anti-winterizing system to avoid winterizing. The compartments are equipped with fully automatic Xtreme compartment heaters, to heat the storage bays, water and holding tanks. In addition, the lithium system includes its own heating system as well, to allow Winter use and higher capacity. This coach is also equipped with a BlueFire engine monitoring and diagnostic system, which displays all the data of the Cummins engine and Allison transmission. BlueFire even allows the owner to read and clear most engine codes avoiding expensive visits to a dealership should an engine light occur. The coaches entire exterior headlights, running lights and tail lights have all been upgraded to LED lighting for ease of driving at night. This coach also includes a necessary Air Horn as well. Other upgrades include relocating the engine brake switch from the dashboard, where the owner had to lean forward and take his eyes off the road to engage it. The switch is now re-located a few inches from the shifter, allowing use without reaching or taking your eyes off the road.
Leaving the best for last, If you like the large comfort of a Class A, the Breeze 33 BR is hands down the best choice in the industry. Regretfully, every tall 13'6" coach suffers from poor handling for the simple fact, with only an 8 foot width, once a coach reaches 13'6" tall (rather than 11 feet like the breeze) the coach becomes top heavy with increased roll moment. This means anytime there is crosswinds, trucks, curves or excess pitch in the road, you'll have to "counter steer" the coach because the coach is no longer vertical, it's leaning from outside sources. I've owned dozens of large Tiffins, Newmars, American Eagles, etc., they all lean excessively and require constant correction.Even Newmar's Comfort Steer provides not steering compensation, it's merely just a power steering system. In fact, my last coach was a large Freightliner Cascadia Renegade Explorer, (shown in images) it handled just as bad as my other large class As. I've written an in-depth review on the Explorer on my web site. Since the Breeze roof is only 11 feet tall, there is little to no roll moment, making the Breeze "hands down" the best handling and easiest coach to drive.
Since the Breeze is so light, it has more pickup and performance than larger motorhomes with even with massive Cummins or Detroit engines with 1,850 pounds of torque and twice the hp. Other advantages is fuel economy. With diesel prices out of control, you'll want a coach with good economy. Most large Class As and even Super Cs, only achieve 6-8 mpg. The lightweight Breeze obtains 10-12 mpg, almost twice the mileage and economy. While the Breeze is only 33 feet in length it still offers plenty of living area with a super large galley, good sized bath and a king size bedroom with full width closet for storage. This coach is unlike any other. Other Breeze advantages is much lower insurance rates. In fact, many companies will no longer issue RVs over 36 feet. Also, thanks to the Breezes small size, you will not need a CDL license to drive when the DOT will soon be enforcing this new rule. Don't confuse this Breeze 33 BR with older and shorter models with poor handling and powerless diesel engines, the 33 BR is a departure from older coaches.
I purchased this beautiful coach for my own use, however due to major family health issues, I must let her go. I paid $271,940 for the coach and have well over $100,000 in cost and labor to improve her. If you have any questions please contact me.
