Built for those who would rather camp beyond the hookups than spend their adventures plugged into an RV park.

This nearly new, custom-ordered 2026 Arctic Fox 865 short-bed truck camper has been extensively upgraded for serious off-grid adventures, with over $10,000 invested in electrical, solar, battery, and air-conditioning upgrades alone. Has been stored inside until just recently had to move it to a different facility due to location.

Featuring 800Ah of lithium battery capacity, 800W of rooftop solar with dual 50A solar charge controllers, a 3,000W TBB inverter/charger, a TBB DM1260 DC-to-DC Charger, and an upgraded 16,000 BTU TOSOT heat-pump air conditioner, this camper is equipped to enjoy the freedom of camping without relying on traditional hookups.

Originally custom-ordered and purchased in November 2025, it has approximately 45 nights of use and has been exceptionally well cared for.

Three 200 Watt panels , 3000W Invertor, 50amp Solar Charger and 400Ah battery were install by Northwood during the factory build and the addtional components were professionally upgraded by Future Solutions in Indiana, the company that designed the TBB electrical system for Northwoods Arctic Fox campers.

The addtional second 400Ah battery, 200 Watt Panel, 2nd 50amp Solar changer and DC-to-DC charging system were installed in March 2026.

Upgraded Heating & Cooling

The original air conditioner was replaced in March 2026 with a quieter, more efficient TOSOT 16,000 BTU RV air conditioner with heat pump. It was professionally installed by SDG in Elhart who helped developed this unit. This unit is used in high end coaches and is super quiet and being that it is under the dinette that was very important to us.

This upgraded unit features soft-start capability and can operate from the campers 3,000W inverter, subject to battery charge and available power.

Custom Kitchen Configuration:

The factory oven was intentionally deleted from our original custom order to accommodate the upgraded 3,000W TBB inverter/charger install by Northwood. The camper retains its three-burner cooktop and microwave with air-fryer functionality, providing versatile cooking options while maximizing space for the upgraded electrical system.

Why Were Selling:

We custom-ordered our Arctic Fox with every intention of enjoying it for years to come, and weve absolutely loved the freedom and flexibility it provides. As our travel plans have evolved, weve decided to transition to an Airstream travel trailer to accommodate more extensive travel while we both continue working remotely.

The Arctic Fox has been an incredible setup, particularly for off-grid adventures and the ability to pull into places larger RVs simply cant access. Thats something were genuinely going to miss!

Our change in direction creates a great opportunity for someone else to enjoy a nearly new, extensively upgraded camper without the expense and time involved in building out a comparable system.
