RV Description
For sale by owner: 2000 Newmar Mountain Aire (Model MACA 3758) built on a Ford F53 chassis with the Triton V10 gas engine with 47,500 miles. Location: Clarkston, MI
Previously owned by my Father-In-Law who recently had a stroke. Title is now in my wife's name... we have no use for it.
Mechanical/Drivetrain: Really solid - starts, runs, and drives strong, braking is also smooth and strong. Maintenance free SumoSprings were added a year ago to the front to enhance the drive-ability.
Roof/Water: I drove it from the barn it was stored in to Clarkston to list it. I've found that there is an active roof leak when parked on uneven ground that has caused some water intrusion signs inside the cabin.
Electrical: Auxiliary house batteries are currently missing. Auxiliary generator starts right up and runs well though. A backup camera system was also installed, very helpful.
