In 2026, the owner upgraded the entire coach electrical system to a whopping 600 amp hour Lithium Iron self-heating battery, brand new 400W of solar, controlled by a new Victron solar charger; increased the inverter power from 2000W to a Victron 3000W system and added a 50-amp DC-DC battery charger by the vehicle alternator. This greatly enhances the off-grid capabilities to 3+ days. A brand-new Carefree Freedom strut free awning as well as a new back window blackout shade replaced the originals.
In 2025 the rooftop air conditioner was upgraded to a more efficient Truma Aventa with soft start to help conserve battery power, noise and give improved cooling. An upgraded high arc stainless steel faucet was also installed that year.
2024 brought a complete upgrade of the window treatments (by Rolef of Canada) replacing the awkward original pull-down shades with neat, easy to use and effective, zippered roll down black out shades made with a tent like fabric. In addition, the front windscreen as well as driver & passenger window covers were upgraded to use magnets to secure them quickly and with ease, replacing the stock curtain. A magnetic roll up sliding door no-see-um screen was added to compliment the two back doors no-see-um screen allowing open circulation of cool air in the van on hot days.
