RV Description

The 2026 Forest River R-Pod RP-205 is a very well-thought-out camper. The layout makes excellent use of the space, and weve found it to be both comfortable and easy to use. We bought this unit new last spring from Bankston RV in Alabama, so it is essentially still new. We purchased it with the intention of camping long-term and made several upgrades to improve its off-grid capability, storage, and overall convenience. Of everything about the R-Pod, Ive probably been most impressed by how reliable and spacious it feels for a camper of this size. Everything has worked exactly as it should. The tankless water heater has been greatit really is a luxury to have continuous hot water. The refrigerator, heat, and A/C all work perfectly, and I especially like that Forest River ducted the A/C throughout the camper rather than simply cooling the main cabin.

The galley has plenty of usable counter and storage space, the reclining chairs are extremely comfortable, and one feature I didn't expect to appreciate as much as I do is the built-in vacuum system. Overall, its just a very comfortable and easy camper to live in.
If youve read this far, youre probably already familiar with the RP-205, so I wont try to list every factory feature. Forest River has the complete specifications here:

Upgrades
We made several upgrades shortly after purchasing it:
Replaced the stock 200W solar panel with two Renogy 200W ShadowFlux solar panels (400W total)
Replaced the OEM deep-cycle battery with a Li Time 320Ah lithium battery
Installed a Bluetooth Victron solar charge controller
Installed a Bluetooth Victron Smart Shunt for monitoring battery usage and state of charge
Installed a locking battery box on the trailer tongue
Installed a spare-tire winch, moving the spare underneath the trailer instead of having it mounted on the rear
Upgraded to larger, heavier-duty leveling/stabilizing jacks
Installed a backup camera

The camper also comes with the equipment shown in the pictures, including the rear storage rack and storage tubs. The additional exterior storage has made a much bigger difference than I expected.
Also included are the hitch, stabilization bar, backup camera, rearview-mirror monitor, and adapter.

We bought the R-Pod and invested in these upgrades because we expected camping to become our primary recreational activity. After using it, we simply realized that we enjoy boating more and would rather put our recreational time and money in that direction. There isn't anything about the camper that prompted us to sell it.
Its a great unit, its been very well cared for, and its already set up with the upgrades we felt made the most sense. It has been stored under cover.

Price is firm. Title in hand.

If you have any questions about the camper, the upgrades, or our experience with it, Im happy to answer them.
Thanks for your interest.
