RV Description
My parents bought this 2019 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S with a simple dream: to camp more, explore Michigan, and spend time along the Great Lakes. They pictured quiet mornings at state parks, evenings around a campfire, and the freedom to pack up and head somewhere beautiful. They loved the idea of comfortable camping with their friends. Unfortunately, their bodies have decided that lifting, hitching, and backing up a trailer are no longer part of the adventure.
As a result, this trailer has been gently used fewer than 10 times since they purchased it and has remained remarkably close to the condition it was in when they brought it home. No remodeling, no DIY experiments, no years of hard camping. Just a lightly used camper that never got nearly as many Michigan adventures as they had planned.
The Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S is a great size for a couple or small family who wants a comfortable camper without hauling something enormous behind them. One of its best features is the slide-out sofa area, which opens up the interior and makes the trailer feel surprisingly spacious. There is room to relax, eat, cook, sleep comfortably, and actually move around without constantly bumping into each other.
Inside, you'll find a permanent bed, pull-out sofa, a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave, a bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink, a TV and stereo, plus plenty of storage for everything that somehow follows you on a camping trip. This RV has central AC located in the ceiling, a must for hot, humid summer days.
What my parents liked most about this camper is that it feels manageable and comfortable at the same time -it's definitely not a "tin can", as we joked about their previous camper. It isn't a giant RV, but it also doesn't feel like you're roughing it. It's the kind of trailer that would be equally at home tucked into a wooded Michigan campground, parked near one of the Great Lakes, or heading out on a longer road trip.
We would really like to see it go to someone who will use it for what my parents originally intended: getting outside, seeing new places, making memories, and putting a lot more miles and campfires into its story.
