This 2019 TAXA Outdoors Mantis STD blends the adventure of tent camping with the comfort of a hard-sided trailer, making it a great fit for weekend getaways or extended off-grid trips. Its signature pop-up canvas roof adds headroom and airflow at camp, then collapses down for easy, aerodynamic towing on the road. Inside, you'll find a propane stove and an on-demand propane hot water heater, plus a propane forced-air heater to keep things cozy on cool nights. A compact indoor shower and toilet handle daily needs, while a separate outdoor shower makes quick rinse-offs after a hike, bike ride, or day with the dog a breeze. LED lighting (including a bedside reading light) and USB charging keep things convenient after dark.

This particular Mantis has been well cared for and thoughtfully upgraded by its owner. The battery bank has been upgraded to lithium-ion, paired with solar panels for reliable off-grid power. Most of the common rivet-pop issues that affect many Taxa trailers have been resolved using stainless steel bolts, and the known gas line leak issue common to Taxa trailers has been fixed. The axle has been replaced with a new, non-recalled unit for extra peace of mind. The trailer also comes with a full replacement canvas and a manufacturer-supplied rain leak prevention kit (owner installed the canvas fixes but did not find the rain kit necessary).

The following items are included with the sale: spare parts, portable solar panels, a winterization and axle grease kit, a 4-inch foam full-size mattress, two 4-inch foam narrow mattresses for the front bunk (each fits an adult), a tent extension that wraps around the awning (fully usable but with a somewhat broken zipper), and a complete pop-up canvas replacement kit with new aluminum rails (not yet installed).
