RV Description

2022 Heartland 25 RBP NorthTrail w/ a 2yr fully transferable extended warranty (good to Aug 14, 2028 - 2 more years. Value $2,500. I paid $5k total for Aug 2024-Aug 2028). Nice customizations and in excellent condition with very low miles.

A great trailer for a first time buyer bc it comes w a full warranty, and bc I was a first time buyer and I am happy to share everything I learned about the buying process and the trailer. I remember when I started looking at dealer vs private, I had so many questions about value, which was more of a sure purchase, how warranties worked and if I could do a loan or not buying private-(yes the answer is yes you can get a loan to buy private. Logix Credit Union was recommended to me but there are many options). Feel free to reach out to talk even if you're not interested in this trailer, I'm happy to share what I learned if its helpful to anyone. There are definitely some things I would do differently from how I did it the first time. And I'll tell you the reality of how a dealer like Mike Thompson in Fountain Valley actually operates which is great to be aware of no matter what direction you go.

BONUS OPTION, you can pay a little extra to have the custom built wood TwinXL daybed base w 6 extremely useful extra deep 39" deep drawers that all fits perfectly into the pop out. It cost us extra to build but it is an extremely useful addition for added storage and as a real functional comfortable 2nd bed where someone would actually get a good night sleep vs on the black couch that really is just not really for sleeping. So we have that priced as an option for an extra price which is less than half of what it cost us to build. So you really score on many levels with this.

THE BEST THING in my opinion, is the 2 yr warranty and that I really want to give its next owner the full walk through of how it all works and make sure you're totally comfortable with how everything operates. This was my first time owning a travel trailer and there were so many things I wish had been explained better to me when I purchased it. SO IF YOU ARE A FIRST TIME BUYER, this is an excellent one to buy. I will make sure you are totally dialed in, and you don't have to worry with the extended warranty for 2 years, and I will also give you the name of the mobile repair technician that works with the warranty who is fantastic and comes to your house so you don't have to do anything.

I purchased this unit from Mike Thompson RV Fountain Valley 2 years ago. They sold me it without disclosing a leaking fresh water tank so I'm not a fan of their dealership. But my experience using the warranty was actually surprisingly easy and functional. So thats good to know. The mobile tech was a dream and now this unit has a brand new from factory fresh water tank so I can walk you through all of these things from my own experience to make sure you are totally comfortable with everything, and you're ready when you're out on the road.

INTERIOR customizations include:
magnetic knife rack; 3 wall mounted storage for spices & kitchen tools; extra clothes hanging rod along side the bed that is removable if you don't need it, and a little laptop/book/file storage under the built in table which also comes with 2 folding chairs (not shown in the photos, but they are stock & came with the unit and match the interior). Other interior features I like are pull down sink faucet head, USB and power outlets on both sides of the main bed, AC & heater, and the overall light color scheme. Also comes with a BOXIO unit. We never used the black water tank, because why deal with it when the boxio is so much easier.

EXTERIOR features that I love:
outside shower with hot and cold adjustable water; spare tire mount; outside exterior mini fridge and pull out table for prepping food outside; also directly below the outside mini fridge/ outdoor cooking zone is an attachment for any propane grill you might have for BBQing; very large exterior storage cubby w large access doors accessible from both sides of the trailer; the awning is amazing (sorry I don't have photos of it extended but it is fantastic and extends out over the entry door side; the entry door has a nice screen door and coded entry lock so you are never stuck looking for your keys; there are very good indoor/outdoor speakers; exterior lights both led strips and motion sensor lights that can be turned on or off if you prefer to really enjoy the dark nights light we do; two propane tanks mounted under a cover; the metal box that houses the battery is large enough to add additional batteries if you want to extend your off grid time; of course AC & heater; also comes with a long heavy duty 220 connector cable as well as a converter cable that allow you to plug into your average regular 110 outlet; a pressure regulator valve for connecting to city water, all the literature and user manuals, and various bits for maintenance and use like a brand new un opened basic tool kit, window washer squeegee, 2 solid RHINO waste water tank hoses (you don't want cheap waste water hoses lol), and more.
