This 1998 National Tradewinds 7370 is a diesel pusher on a Freightliner Custom Chassis. The Caterpillar 3126 data plate shows 300 HP at 2,200 RPM. Photographed July 30, 2026, the odometer read 89,537 miles and the generator hour meter 1,029.3 hours. The floorplan has one living-area slide, a private rear bedroom, and a Splendide 2100XC vented washer/dryer combo in a cabinet.

The details:

• Allison MD3060 six-speed automatic, per factory literature for this model.

• The family's service records list about $4,600 of Caterpillar dealer engine work in 2025: a complete diagnostic and inspection including a rod and main bearing check, with coolant and radiator work at the same time. Receipts are available. The transmission was serviced in 2024 and billed as inspection and materials; the exact figure is not at hand.

• All six tires carry the DOT date code 1321, the thirteenth week of 2021, and were replaced as a set.

• The family describes the generator as a 7,500-watt diesel unit, so it draws from the coach's own fuel tank rather than propane, and their records show it serviced.

• Also in the records: four Koni shocks, four air-ride motion control units, a Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer, a front end alignment, the chassis air conditioning rebuilt with a new compressor, dryer, condenser, and line, LED headlights and fog lights, and all filters on the coach changed.

• On the house side: a new house air conditioner, a new slide topper, a new skylight, a new slide-out motor, and a one-micron water filter system.

• Freightliner Custom Chassis, XC series, 26,350 lb GVWR, 228-inch wheelbase.

• 36'6" long, 102 inches wide, just over 12 feet of road height.

• 90-gallon diesel tank. Fresh water 90 gallons in two 45-gallon tanks. Gray and black 50 gallons each.

• Two ducted 13,500 BTU roof air conditioners and two ducted furnaces, 35,000 and 20,000 BTU.

• Factory literature for this model lists a steel-framed, crowned laminated rubber roof. The fiberglass is in the molded caps and sidewalls, not overhead.

• The coach's own factory build sheet lists an Atwood six-gallon LPG water heater, a Heart Interface inverter, Power Gear hydraulic levelers, and a Voyager rear camera monitor. The water heater control is now an upgraded Furrion, and the thermostat a Dometic panel.

• Inside: a sleeper sofa, recliner, dinette, and flat-screen TV in the living area; solid-surface counters, a double sink, three-burner cooktop, GE Profile convection microwave, and refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen; hard-surface flooring and oak cabinets throughout.

• The rear bedroom has blackout shades, mirrored storage, and a custom upholstered headboard. The split bath has a vanity, an enclosed glass shower under a skylight, and a Traveler toilet.

• Outside: patio and window awnings, leveling jacks, storage bays, and a rear ladder.

The family reports that the roof was inspected in spring 2026 with nothing found, that the house and chassis batteries were replaced in 2024, and that there are no known active leaks or visible delamination during their ownership. To the family's knowledge, no one has smoked in the coach. The family dog traveled in it. The interior has been cleaned.

The family is the coach's second owner. They used this Tradewinds to visit scenic landmarks across the country, and they compare those trips to taking a cruise: unpack once, then wake up somewhere new. They are retiring from RV travel and offering the coach to its next owner.
