2017 Lance 1062 truck camper (not a 2016 as previously listed)

Timing the purchase of your truck around buying a camper, or setting up the truck before getting the camper can be challenging, so.... if you are buying my camper and my truck that can solve that, or depending on where you live I may be able to deliver either or both. This way you don't miss a great camper while you prep and or wait for a truck. Imagine being able to haul your camper and tow your buddies trailer all with one truck! (depending on its' size/weight of course)

( Camper built before COVID hit so you can avoid all the issues that that created for manufacturers, etc. )

We cooked on a blackstone, and only used stove for heating water, and never used the oven.

DRY BATH/shower, LiFePO4 batteries, two slide outs, full cover, ALWAYS garaged in alarmed & temperature controlled shop when not in use. Camper is in great shape, very light use Generator has ~29 hours on it, but we enjoyed when we were able to use it, it is great to be able to toy, boat, etc. tow. Great for the sportspersons out there.

A Turn Key ready to go camping setup (a low mile 2024 F350 Dually 14,000 GVWR 7.3 Liter gas Truck Camper model that was set up for this camper is also available for another price), see included picture from the internet for what might happen when you have the wrong truck camper combo. A lighter duty truck MAY work it just depends on what else you want to haul, a large boat, a trailer of toys, etc..... you can go to the CAT scales to see how much your truck weighs then subtract that number from the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating usually found in the door jam) and that new number is the weight you can add to the truck and camper, "that new number" being more fuel if it wasnt full, food, silverware, water, clothes, more food, a tow behind tongue weight, 4 friends, a dog, etc. all of that counts against the remaining GVWR. Happy to help you understand what I understand even if you don't buy mine, as that helps others and you be safe, armed with that you should still do your own research on this topic as you are the one that will be responsible, certainly not your dealer. Remember Diesel motors take up around 1,000 # of your payload since they weigh more than gas motors.

Lithium chargers and LiFePO4 batteries ($3,500)

• (Lithium Iron Phosphate) are pricy but they weigh about 1/3 as much as lead acid and are reported to outperform them ~2:1 with regards accessible/useable Amp hours. These batteries also have switchable heat so they can be charged at lower outside temperatures than non heated batteries.

• LiFePO4 chargers, these technology game changer batteries require upgraded chargers to get the most out of them, the solar charge controller, the main house charge controller  were all updated, and a  Victron DC-DC charger controller was added to allow up to 30 amps of charging while you drive off of the truck alternator, once truck battery is full charge if it was down.

• Camper battery status as well as charging status can be monitored from a smart phone of from within the camper on the respective device interfaces

• 7.3 Liter Godzilla gas motor

I had a diesel and sold it as it ROBBED ~1,000# of payload, I never felt I needed more power with the 7.3 godzilla( 430 HP with almost 500 FT lbs of torque), it handled hills great, monster torque, surprisingly decent gas mileage considering I was moving  a camper and a boat down the Highway. When doing it with the diesel it got ~1-2 mpg more (YMMV) but with the high diesel fuel prices today and the much higher maintenance costs of diesel, Godzilla rules!

• Firestone Air Command Heavy Duty Dual ($1,300) App controlled for tuning while you drive, also in camp ready to park and go to bed, much of the leveling can come from your app as well, since the airbags are independently controlled you can max the air on the left or right and minimize the air on the opposite side to help the leveling, after I got this I stopped using my level blocks.

• TorkLift StableLoad Suspension ($800)  these are great as you can easily disable them for factory ride when camper is not loaded

• Wired to support Victron DC-DC 30 amp Camper battery ($350)
