RV Description
2016 Lance 1062 truck camper DRY BATH/shower, LiFePO4 batteries, two slide outs, full cover, ALWAYS garaged in alarmed & temperature controlled shop when not in use. Camper is in great shape, very light use Generator has ~24 hours on it, but we enjoyed when we were able to use it, it is great to be able to toy, boat, etc. tow. Great for the sportspersons out there.
A Turn Key ready to go camping setup (a dialed in Truck is also available for another price), see picture from internet as to what can happen when you have the wrong truck camper combo. I may consider a partial trade for a lighter duty pickup, a lighter duty or even a sigle axle, MAY work it just depends on what else you want to haul, 4 people, a bbq a large boat.... just go to the CAT scales see how much your truck weighs subtract that from the GVWR (usually found in the door jam) and that is what you can add to the truck and camper, "that" being more fuel if it wasnt full, food, ice, silverware, water, clothes, a tow behind tongue weight, 4 friends, etc. all of that counts against the remaining GVWR. happy to help you understand what I understand even if you don't buy mine, as that helps others and you be safe, armed with that you should still do your own research as you are the one that will be liable. remember Diesel motors take up around 1,000 # of your payload since they weigh more than gas motors.
Camper still under Warranty
Truck Still under warranty
Upgrades: (almost $6K worth)
Lithium chargers and LiFePO4 batteries ($3,500)
- (Lithium Iron Phosphate) are pricy but they weigh about 1/3 as much as lead acid and outperform them ~2:1 with regards accessible/useable Amp hours. These batteries are also switchable heated.
- LiFePO4 chargers, these technology game changer batteries require upgraded chargers to get the most out of them, the solar charge controller, the main house charge controller were all updated, and a Victron DC-DC charger controller was added to allow up to 30 amps of charging while you drive off of the truck alternator, once truck battery is full charge if it was down.
Solar panels
Onan Generator muffler
Torklift Fastgun turnbuckles and locks (~$1,100)
Swing out bike, firewood, etc hitch mount ($600)
Standard Lance 1062 features, including but not limited to:
- Air conditioner, heater, fridge/freezer, two slide outs, tv, dvd, internal external speakers, bumper storage, etc.
- Pricy upgraded comfortable queen mattress for the main bed, dinette bed when needed ($500)
- Two propane tanks
- Inside camper tank monitors
this truck is also available for another price, if interested, will only sell seperate after camper sells. 2024 F350 Lariat, Dually, 4x4, crew cab, large sunroof, heated and cooled seats, etc. 15K miles, great shape
Specs: (prices listed so you know what was ~paid including install to set it up the way I had it set up, overkill?? It rides good)
7.3 Liter Godzilla motor
I had a diesel and sold it as it ROBBED ~1,000# of payload and I never longed for more power with the 7.3 godzilla( 430 HP with almost 500 FT lbs of torque), it handled hills great monster torque, surprisingly decent gas mileage considering I was moving a camper and a boat down the Highway. When doing it with the diesel is got 1.7-2.1 mpg more (YMMV) and with diesel fuel prices today the much higher maintenance costs of diesel, Godzilla rules!
14,000 GVWR
Slightly more aggressive all terrain tires in great shape
Over 6,000 # of payload available, with the removal of 5th wheel hitch components will add even more.
Over $8,500 in suspension upgrades on top of the Ford camper model which saved some aftermarket needs
-Superhitch magnum 30K# double hitch to handle the 42" extension for towing ($1,500)
-Torklift Camper frame tie downs ($1,500)
-42" tongue extension for towing if needed plus wiring harness ($925)
-Fastway Sway control/Weight distribution hitch available if needed ($750)
-Firestone 7500 airbags & Firestone on board compressor for airbag and tire refills, ($1,000) also a custom in bed mount and aluminum cover ($200), stock mounts wants to be under bed, I worried it would get ruined by road crud
-Firestone Air Command Heavy Duty Dual ($1,300) App controlled for tuning while you drive, also in camp ready to park and go to bed, much of the leveling can come from your app as well, since the airbags are independent you can max the air on the left and min the air on the right to help the leveling after I got this I stopped using my level blocks.
-TorkLift StableLoad Suspension ($800) these are great as you can easily disable them for factory ride when camper is not loaded
SuperSprings SuperSway Stops ( $500)
Wired to support Victron DC-DC 30 amp Camper battery ($350)
I am sure I am forgetting other items, I did my best to capture it all
