RV Description
Here's what I can tell you as the owner: This rig has been taken care of. Oil changed and tires rotated every 5,000 miles. And any time we aren't traveling it's stored inside our RV garage, with a dehumidifier running.
It's never once let us down. We've had it in the mountains of Northern California, all the way up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and down through Central Florida and Texas. Different weather and elevation changes and it handles it all! You learn pretty quickly on a long trip whether you can trust a rig or not. We trust this one!
The basics:
24 ft Class C on a Ram ProMaster chassis (gasoline)
3.6L V6, 6-speed auto, 280 hp
Only 48,576 miles
Gets 13-15 MPG; which is GREAT for a gas motorhome!
Sleeps 6 (Rear permanent bed, table that converts to a bed, and a hydraulic drop-down loft bed)
What we've added or replaced:
Added SUMO Springs front and rear makes a real difference in how it handles
I replaced the black and grey tank connectors when we got it and aimed the handle higher up for more clearance.
New Girard2 tankless water heater
New LED headlights (the factory ones were so dim!)
Two new Cooper 225/75R16 tires
New chassis battery
RVLOCK keyless entry
New city water inlet
New metal screen door lock
Dual exterior fans on fridge (keeps it cold in hot weather conditions)
Custom seat covers (In front cab and on the bench seats)
Exterior cover for the side windows and windshield
Newer exterior speakers
Brand new custom mattress in the loft (Never slept on)
Little things we did to make it more livable:
Blackout curtain between the cab and living area so the A/C doesn't have to work as hard. Reflectix inside most of the cabinets to help with heat and cold. Spare tire always kept inside. I added a 120V electrical cord that runs from the electrical hook-up area through to the dining area - we plug-in our Powerstation with that cord and can power all the interior 120V outlets that way.
Already on board from the factory:
Onan generator (Runs off the gas tank. Has less than 400 hours on it), 13,500 BTU A/C, 15-ft powered awning with LED strip, rear camera, outdoor shower, 2 pivoting TVs, built-in stereo with radio/cd/dvd player, front, rear and exterior speakers, 2-way fridge (propane and electric), microwave, dual burner range, 35 cu ft of basement storage. Swivel captains seats, 2 bench seats. One piece shower with integrated wall shelves, hand held shower sprayer, and The Shub - auto-drying shower door. Deep bathroom sink, medicine cabinet. Lots and lots of storage! Euro wood-grain cabintry. LED lighting.
The roof is in GREAT condition, never has leaked. No soft spots in the floors. This unit is tight!
Honest notes:
Some cosmetic damage on the radio face; doesn't affect how it works. A few bulbs out on the awning light strip. The TPRS light is on, we use a separate set of tire monitors.
