RV Description

We love this camper! It's so easy to take anywhere, from remote boondocking off grid areas to ski resort and Mountain Bike Area parking lots for a weekend of adventure. We fit our family of 5 in this camper for the past 2 years. With the roof top tent and the main sleeping areas inside the unit we slept 5 regularly.

Our scout has a couple of optional mods and several factory upgrades. Here are the details:

- Roof Nest Tent on top ~ Sleeps 2 adults comfortably.
- Thetford Cassette Toilet. It is a built-in OEM fully functional toilet that pivots out for use and locks back into a stowed position underneath a hinged shelf to save space.

Batwing 170-degree awning.
- Front / Top bunk area windows (Factory optional upgrade) is included on this Kenai.
-Rinse Kit (Portable warm water shower kit)- Includes outdoor shower tent or you can shower inside the scout with the built-in shower floor drain.
- Diesel Heater - Factory installed and fully integrated.
- Roto Pack mount - comes with 2 (2gal) water containers. You can add additional containers for diesel fuel, gas, more water.
- 5 Gal. Life Saver Jerry Can water supply inside camper.
- 2 Black Scout hanging bags for more interior hanging storage.
- Froli Sleep Systems aftermarket main bed upgrade. This is a mattress foundation to increase comfort and ventilation on the main mattress.
- Custom wood bunk extensions to allow north / south sleeping on the main bed space. Upgraded from OEM Material that is a bit more brittle.
- Yeti 1500X Electric power system (OEM Install) for lighting, heater and general electrical power in the camper, seamlessly integrates to the factory 200w solar panel on the roof which charges the Yeti battery pack.
- DC to DC adapter to charger power station while driving.
- Happy Jacks (OEM) for easy loading, storing and stability when sleeping.
- Bilateral bed rail system (OEM install) to allow mounting of traction boards, shovels, ski racks, tools, jack, ect...

The additional "Mods" we have done are:
- Air Conditioner that fits into the window (this is homemade / modified using a small window AC from Home Depot) but it works great if you have external power or a generator to power it. It's not pretty but it works perfect. Obviously, there are other portable RV AC units also work great on the market.
- The ability to expand the lower area sleep surface inside the camper. Optional, removable.

We are also able to deliver or meet part of the way if potential buyer is a long way from our home area. We will also take some time to walk any new Scout owner through all of the systems and learning curve items so you can have immediate and optimal use of this unit. It took us a few trips to figure everything out. Our dealer was not good at showing us everything.
