This Platinum 261XL is built on the robust Ford E450 chassis. It has the "best in industry" one-piece Coach House fiberglass reinforced body shell. It combines ruggedness and durability, with comfort and convenience. The super durable, trouble free 6.8 liter V10 engine is coupled to an efficient 6-speed overdrive transmission. This motor home offers ample load carrying capacity and is an excellent tow rig. The "tow mode" button modifies transmission shift points and activates transmission braking, to improve driving dynamics and safety when towing.

This 261 has the optional dual Theater recliner chairs installed in the front slide-out. They are quite substantial and are electrically powered recliners. Each chair has a dedicated solid surface table, which pivots for easy egress, The tables work well for dining, office work, gaming or whatever. The chairs are super comfortable reclined, ideal for watching the flat screen TV/monitor late into the night! The wood interior is trimmed in warm honey maple, with solid maple cabinet doors and drawers. High quality fabrics and finishes throughout complete the interior in elegance, making it a truly luxurious space to spend your time.

Note: The twin mattresses are upgraded E.J. Schrader Co memory foam, are especially comfortable and go a long ways towards a good nights sleep.
