34' Ft 2013 Forest River Aviator Wright-Flyer Touring Edition with premium paint package. Great Condition. Title in hand. Ready to roll.

Aviators are a bit of a unicorn in the RV world. Designed by Forest River as a sleek and modern, luxury travel trailer to compete with Airstream in the high-end trailer market, it features a wood-free structure, a foam-insulated, solid fiberglass roof, a 2-inch-thick composite floor, 5-inch-thick composite walls, and a single slide-out. Cabinetetry is also fully composite, which allows for its unique curved shape. All these features created a truly solid and rot-proof trailer.

The Aviator won the Best in Show award at the 2012 RV industry trade show in Louisville, Kentucky, boasting an original retail price between $80K and $90K. Ultimately, Forest River didn't have Airstream's loyalty and brand recognition to compete at that price. Discounting didnt cover the cost to build it. This Wright-Flyer Touring Edition was the 15th Aviator to roll off the assembly line. Ultimately, only 70 units were made before they were discontinued later that year.

We purchased this trailer in 2016 to be used mostly as a pied-à-terre while working a remote position. After the pandemic, we lived in it while looking for a home and then on and off while remodeling. With that remodeling now complete, weve decided that its time to let Avi discover new roads with a new owner. To the best of my knowledge, everything works as it should.

This specific trailer has all the standard high-end amenities originally included (which were a lot), plus a few added upgrades, including a hydraulic leveling system, second air conditioner, hardwood composite flooring, dimmable undercabinet LED lighting, and residential electrical outlets. It's a great rig that will always start a conversation at every campground you visit.
