RV Description
Our Travato 59GL with the lithium system. No generator to contend with or be noisy during night restrictions in campgrounds. Very good condition, less than 8,000 miles logged. Health & age related issues dictate us leaving behind getting out to explore Oregon. Most of our adventure days were spent in the MinnieWinnie when we were still living in southern Arizona, 50 some years. At one point we even discussed driving the Travato to Alabama to visit my aunt. We bought it new at Guaranty in JunctionCity which is now Bish'sRV. Traded in our MinnieWinnie which was harder to drive due to its size, wider, longer. The Travato is as long as a crew cab 4x4 long bed pickup so can be parked in most parking lots which was extremely useful. I was familiar with the Dodge V6 having owned a Jeep Liberty and a Chrysler300 in the past. Good motors. I recently washed it myself, starting at the top, part of an annual spring cleaning. The Travato's ladder can be used at the back or on the driver's side in various locations, but not on the passenger side because of the large awning which retracts in windy conditions. Also came with the factory bike rack which we never used. We had a folding Ebike we hauled in the space under the stowed Murphy bed. Gave them up too/ sold to our younger neighbors. We are including the two tubs with the 3 sewer hoses & snake stand, white clean water hose & pressure regulator. Plus, electrical circuit breaker/checker, couple of adapters and factory power cord. I trickle charge the chassis battery once a month during the winter downtime, plus drive the Travato at least 15 minutes every two weeks on a non-rainy day. Usually an early Sunday morning with little traffic. I would let the lithium system discharge running the refrigerator, microwave, radio a few hours before driving so it could charge back up while driving. We slept on the Murphy bed in the back. I'm a little over 6ft. The dinette lays out also into a bed for one or maybe two depending on size. The KL model does not accomodate extra sleeping. The leather cab chairs swivel around to access the dinette table which has a swingout section. There's also a pull up extension to the kitchen counter. There are led lights underneath and along the inside of the awning. We have all of the factory user manuals for perusal. Solar panels on top plus a manually rotating tv antenna. A lot of this you can find on Winnebago's website.
