Campgrounds visited have been KOAs plus state and local parks, ACOE recreation facilities, and occasional Harvest Host.

A Ford Ranger pickup brought along as a Dinghy Tow has provided local transportation needs and kept driving speed capped at 60 mph as per Ford recommendations. Blue Ox tow bar and ancillary components were installed as part of original purchase along with Blue Ox Patriot 3 Braking System (nominally $4,500 components and installation). The Blue Ox system has performed as designed and will (or will not) transfer with the 26M as agreed at time of sale.

The Ford chassis has proved to be reliable, solid and comfortable to drive and this particular 26M has installed components recommended by other owners/drivers based on years and millions of miles driving. The driving experience improved significantly as on-road safety and drivability was addressed with OEM Steering Control designed for general use was upgraded with Safety T Plus Steering Controller designed and manufactured to better meet RV, Bus and 18-Wheeler safety expectations including Road Wandering, Over Steering, Side Winds, Passing Semi Trucks, Front Tire Blowouts and driver Steering Fatigue. An upgraded Hellwig front sway bar designed for the Ford chassis was added for further operational stability. With safety in mind, all six OEM Hankook tires were replaced with new OEM Hankook tires at time of 2025 annual front tire alignment check. New Tires currently have 5,200 road use miles and will provide worry free travel for several years. New camber/caster bushings were installed prior to alignment (a normal alignment wear item).

To ensure propane tanks are conveniently monitoredrefilled when neededMOPEKA level sensor monitor remotely monitor gas level continuously with results linked to cellular phone(s) providing instant display of Propane Tank contents alleviating worry and ensuring sufficient fuel for refrigerator when needed and heat and cooking.

This 26M includes two Rooftop mounted, rear and forward, air conditioners and will provide welcome relief on warm muggy days!
