• 2021 SOLIS 59P

This is a lightly used Winnebago Solis 59P with 20,000 all-highway miles. It has been our "grandparenting" camper for four summers but we're finding as the kids grow it's getting a little crowded, so we're upgrading to a larger RV. This Solis is in very good condition, runs perfectly, and even gets almost 20 MPG if you obey posted speed limits. The Solis 59P is built on a durable Dodge RAM chassis, with a fuel-efficient but powerful 3.6 Liter 280 hp six-cylinder engine. It's easy and fun to drive on long trips (fantastic driver and front seat passenger visibility).

It is equipped with the essentials, including a kitchenette with a stove, sink, and Nova Cool refrigerator, as well as a bathroom with a toilet and shower. This particular Solis has the less common rear "jackknife" bench seat that converts to a comfortable "queen" bed. This feature enables legal (seat-belted) seating for the driver and five passengers, which was an important feature for us.

The "pop top" double bed is accessible via the stowaway ladder and has its own lighting and USB charging outlets. Rooftop solar panels keep everything charged so off-grid camping is easy (and absolutely the most fun!). Note, however, in order to use A/C appliances you need to connect to a 30-amp service at a campsite or standard household outlet. Fuel for the furnace, hot water, and two-burner cooktop come from an embedded 25 lb. propane tank that seems to last forever (we have yet to refill it!). The toilet flushes into a nifty and convenient pop-out cassette that can be emptied at a dump station, porta-potty, or household toilet. Fresh water (21 gallons) and gray water tanks (20 gallons) provide ample capacity and are simple to fill and drain.
