This Rare 2015 Shasta Airflyte is a modern reissue of the iconic 1961 Shasta Airflyte trailer. Only 1,941 of these were made in a limited production run commemorating the year the company was founded (1941). This 2015 model combines modern amenities like LED lighting and Bluetooth speakers with the retro charm of the iconic Shasta wings from the original Airflyte.

We bought this for camping trips with our two little ones and have enjoyed about a dozen wonderful trips with our medium-size dog. But now after adopting a few large dogs we dont want to subject this beautiful trailer to that kind of use!

Inside this 19 model, theres a cozy living space with a dinette that converts into a full-size bed that sleeps two adults, an L-shaped sleeping area for two kids that can convert to a single bed, plus a small top bunk for younger kids.

It also features a kitchenette with a stove, sink, microwave, vent hood, and refrigerator, plus a compact bathroom with a toilet and shower. The birch wood cabinets, checkered flooring, and retro curtains match the exterior charm. A full-height storage cabinet handles pantry duty plus camping essentials.

Storage might be the secret power of this mighty trailer. From the interior cabinets and compartments to the lockable exterior storage, there really is space for everything youll need.

The trailer is lightweight and easy to tow with most mid-size SUVs (ours is a 4Runner). The previous owner was the original and like us, kept up with regular maintenance. Updates include all new exterior seals and new shower hardware. Weve acquired a number of accessories along the way that make camping life easier and all of those listed or pictured are included with the trailer.

The previous owner, who restored classic cars, asked us to carry on the name Betty that his family gave her. So now although were sad to see Betty go, were sure shes got many amazing trips still ahead of her!
