RV Description

A joy to drive, this Winnebago Brave is a throw back to the first Winnebago built in the 1950s and turns many a head. The vehicle drives much smoother and handles better than some large sedans. The Brave has beautiful cardinal red bottom with a white upper and no embellishments. We nicknamed him Bucky as I am an alumnus of UW Madison. The pictures reveal an almost perfect coach on the exterior. New brakes and tires on back dualies two years ago. Regular maintenance in fall and spring took place every year. Bucky was stored inside the last 5 winters and also has a custom cover for incidental covering. The Ford Triton V-10 super powers the vehicle especially in high wind situations. Steering stabilizers and other upgrades in the chassis were made to further stabilize the vehicle. The big windshield allows for fantastic views of sky, mountains, lakes, forests, etc. and large side windows are very generous making cruising across America a true treat. Bucky has big storage compartments underneath which have all just been replaced with stainless steel materials due to faulty manufacturing materials. Any further repairs should not need to be done for decades.

There is a king bed in the separate full bedroom and one whole wall of true closets and drawers. There is also overhead storage above the bed. A very large split bathroom features a shower that is very, very generous. The Art Deco cabinetry and lighting is tastefully done in solid maple drawers and cupboards throughout the vehicle. Special uplighting in the living room/dining area adds a lot of character. All windows have honeycomb regular and blackout shades. There is also a brand new full-size awning, supports and motor.

There are two slides: one is a major slide that moves the entire wall behind the drivers seat all the way back to the end of Bucky. That slide alone is provides a comfortable living area. However, there is a second slide surrounding the dining table so you have a total amazing floor area, enough for 2-3 sleeping bags. However, with the drop down bed above the drivers seat with an extra long mattress, plus the double bed in the jackknife couch and the dining table convert into a shorter bed for kids gives you room for 7-8 people plus brave souls on the floor. Its really supersized for its 32.

You have a good sized refrigerator and separate freezer, a 3-burner LP cooktop and LP oven. The microwave space was converted to more storage but a small modification can be made to put a replacement in. Two air conditioners cool down the whole space in a few minutes. There is not much more one would need for a perfect road trip.
