The 2020 Thor Motor Coach Freedom Elite 22HEC is a Class C motorhome that combines quality construction, innovative features, and a comfortable interior to create an ideal home away from home on wheels.

This is the perfect vehicle for a retired couple, a family with one or two young children, or a solo traveler. The vehicle is in excellent condition, having had only one owner since being purchased new in late August 2020. It has had light use and has been garaged for 4 of its 6 years since it was driven off the dealers lot. The odometer shows only 29,350 miles. The onboard Onan Generator has been operated for only 21 hours.

The actual length of the vehicle is 24 feet. This means that, unlike many of the RV behemoths found on the highways these days, it is much easier to maneuver in campgrounds, dispersed camping sites, and while street parking. IMPROVEMENTS:

In addition to the numerous components listed on the DATA CARD, the following upgrades have been made:

>>> A second 12-volt battery has been added to the battery compartment so that the vehicle will have longer boondocking (aka off grid or dry camping) camping potential.

>>> The Dream Dinette has been removed and replace by a U-Shaped couch (see pictures). The original Dream Dinette components will be included for purchasers who wish to restore that feature to the RV.

>>> The original drawer catches have been replaced by sturdy metal catches.

>>> The four skylight opener mechanisms have been reinforced with metal bands to resist cracking under the stress of closing the skylights tightly.

INCLUDED EXTRAS:

>>> A Renogy 200-watt Suitcase Solar Kit, along with connecting cables. This significantly extends the ability of the vehicle components to continue operating for many days when off grid.

>>> The 10-amp controller for the rooftop solar connections has been replaced by a Renogy 20 amp controller able to manage the 200-watt Suitcase Solar Kit. Also the rooftop solar connection terminals themselves have been replaced by connections on the side of the vehicle (see pictures #5 and #6). Rooftop connection wires are still in place in the event that a future owner wishes to reconnect them for the purpose of installing rooftop solar panels.

>>> A spare tire/wheel along with a heavy duty bottle jack and lug nut remover.

>>> A portable tire air pump (with gauge) that can run off the power provided by the RV batteries.

>>> A Power Watchdog surge suppressor for use with the 30-amp shore power at campgrounds. The Power Watchdog is controlled by a free cell phone app.

>>> An extension cord for the 30-amp shore cord.

>>> A small CD player useable with the 40-inch TV.

>>> Detailed, thorough manuals for all of the RVs components (Furnace, Refrigerator, Microwave, etc)

>>> Detailed, thorough pictorial instructions on how to winterize and dewinterize the vehicle.

>>> An established online account at thor.mizecx.com specifically devoted to this vehicle, including videos related to many of the onboard components.
