Features and Enhancements

Significantly enhanced, well maintained and it is immediately ready for use.  Blankets on the bed, a goose down comforter, dishes and glassware, flatware and a coffee pot all included.

Grand Design (GD) was founded in 2012 with a strong focus on luxury, quality and convenience at an affordable price.  GD was acquired by Winnebago in Nov. 2016.  Six months later there was a mandate to dramatically increase production while restricting manpower expansion creating a potential risk of quality degradation.  This unit was built prior to that mandate.

PRIMARY ADDED AND UPGRADED FEATURES

- ADDED 4-WHEEL HYDRAULIC DISK BRAKES (most units have drum brakes on only the 2 rear wheels)

- UPGRADED 10-in. MEMORY FOAM KING MATTRESS w upgraded gas shocks to balance the bed weight for access to under-bed storage.

- ADDED (Upgraded) 50 inch big-screen LG SMART TV w 4K HD that rises via power lift out of a solid wood cabinet in the living area above a temperature controlled full width electric fireplace (with added controllable lighting).  Includes ADDED sound bar w additional surround sound and base system. (This is the largest TV that will fit.) (Model LG50UM7300AUE)Cable Ready.  HDMI connection readily available for DVD or other appliance connection to TV.

- NEW Slide Toppers on all slides

- UPGRADED Springs are 4000 lb. vs std 3500 lb. each  (all 4 springs)

- INCLUDES heavy duty Shock absorbers (a Solitude option)

- ADDED Full Tire Minder System.  In-cab Tire minder control with 4 sensor/senders on wheel valves.  (Indicates air loss, over heating, under/over inflation, blowout, etc.)

- Living room HEAT PUMP (heats and cools) w separate bedroom air conditioner.  These are individually controlled.  Both operate using the Solitude RaceTrack System for heating & cooling distribution.

- ADDED COLOR BACKUP CAMERA w in-cab display

- ADDED Rear towing hitch w wiring.   Includes both center 2 receiver & left and right 2 side hitches (can tow a RZR or similar vehicle)

- All CO and Smoke alarm batteries replaced annually

- Whole house water filter replaced each trip

- Black tank treated and flushed each trip

- Batteries on kitchen range igniter recently replaced

- Rubber slide seals and slide gears lubricated multiple times per year

- All manuals included

- Extra water pump and water heater heating element included (never needed but adds peace of mind)
