RV Description

This totally customized Jumping Jack trailer conversion is an absolute must for anyone who takes a lot of toys on rugged camping trips. Intentionally designed to handle rugged terrain, this trailer has an 8' Jumping Jack tent frame (2012 with new zipper) mounted on a hefty 18' car hauler (82") wide. I took the design of the 17' Jumping Jack trailer and created an absolute beast of a design. Capable of easily carrying 2 side-by-sides, at least 4 quads, a bunch of dirt bikes, a lot of camping equipment or whatever combination you desire. Among its many custom features include 96 gallons of freshwater connected to the permanent on-demand hot shower and a cleaning station. A custom box has been built to store a 10' x 20' Costco car canopy that I set up for shelter and shade. It has been lifted for extra clearance and has newly purchased rugged E rated 225/75R15 trailer tires and rims.

Imagine coming back from a long ride, opening up the shower door and instantly showering right then and there. Or connecting a hose and rinsing off your mud drenched quads after an exhilarating trek through creeks and muddy roads. The dish and handwashing station makes keeping camp civilized and the box for the canopy has saved many trips from torrential rains, or scorching desert sun. The ability to walk up onto the covered 8' deck to remove your muddy boots or just hang out before entering your tent keeps everything clean inside. I even have a mister system that connects in seconds to keep you cool under the removeable deck awning or the canopy (the Nevada desert summers can be hell!).

A LOT of work has gone into building this trailer, with countless little details too numerous to mention here. I have used it many times to set up base camp for week + long trips. I'm only selling it because I have upgraded to a large 5th wheel toy hauler, and no longer do the rugged camping I used to. I will NOT accept low offers and will simply keep it rather than take less than what it is worth. Based on the amount of time and materials I've spent on this project, I am selling it for less than what I have put into it.

Custom Features:

·         2008 Snake River Trailer model CT18-5TA 7,000# GVWR

·         A 2012, 8' Jumping Jack trailer frame and tent (look up www.jumpingjacktrailers.com if you're not familiar) mounted on the front with custom front wheel chocks built into the rail on the top for side by side stability and extension.

·         The tent is in excellent condition, stored under an awning and tarp covered. The door zipper was replaced two trips ago and is nearly brand new.

·         Two 48 gallon fresh water tanks mounted above the axels with reinforced skid plates.

·         12V deep cycle battery wired system

·         On-demand RV pump

·         On-demand hot water shower connected to a mounted propane tank and the 12V system.

·         Shower is mounted inside an airtight box permanently affixed to the front of the trailer. Literally open it up, flip a switch, and you have instant hot water.

·         Hand/dishwashing station with dual faucet and hose coupler.

·         8' enclosed custom box capable of storing a Costco 10' x 20' steel frame canopy (possibly available for sale with the trailer).

·         Custom easy to assemble shade/rain canopy for the deck as you exit the jumping jack tent. Converts to a safety rail for travel.

·         Rubberized decking

·         Electric jack

·         2 5/16 Sleeve Lock coupler preventing accidental uncoupling even under heavy loads or rough road conditions. This design provides a tight, secure fit that enhances towing safety and stability.

·         All steel folding table with an aluminum sheet covering for a flat surface.

·         Dual stabilizing jacks.

·         Reinforced wheel fenders that allow standing on.

·         Ultra heavy duty loading ramps.

·         Removeable folding step with handrail.

·         Lots of little extras.

A current 17' Jumping Jack Blackout costs $15,500 + tax. This thing is a steal for all the unbelievable features, far superior to an original Jumping Jack.  Price is firm.
