1980 Airstream Caravelle (no thats not a typo). Shell-off restoration started several years ago. Frame repaired with new axles and custom-made steel wheel wells, and coated with heavy-duty rust-preventing paint. All old interior skins removed; installed new marine-grade plywood floor; new 120V breaker panel with shore hookup exterior plug; new 12V system with new 120VAC-12VDC power converter, modern blade fuse panel, and additional ceiling (flush-mounted) LEDs and reading lights; original rear ABS interior skin for bath area repaired and reinstalled; new interior skins (custom made using 0.032 2024-T3 aluminum) installed, including an art-deco sunburst design for front living area ceiling. Corrosion removed from exterior aluminum extrusions/trim; new LED brake/turnsignals installed; grey tank reinstalled. New 12V/LP refrigerator available, as are many old/spare parts for reuse or to use as templates to make new ones. Ready for you to build out your dream interior!
