1992 Barth RV motorhome MOTOR HOME regal . class A
BARTH REGAL 23 ft ALL ALUMINUM MOTORHOME $19,000 CLASS A MOTORHOME 23 FEET LONG
Exterior color: Silver
Interior color: Off white.
Fuel type: Gasoline
1992 BARTH regal 23 ft.
Kept inside in heated/AC STORAGE most of its life.
This is almost 100% original, it is unmodified . All of the original quality is still there and CLEAN.
We have owned it apx 6 years and it is now in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It spent last summer IN ENCLOSED AC storage in FLORIDA.... in AC indoor storage!!!. That is an indication of how much we value it and how good it is. Last year we took it to Florida and stayed 2 months, and planned to do the same this year but it is a little small so we are looking for something like a 36 footer.
This is for sale, sale not trade . It drove back from Florida in apx 30 hours with an overnight stay..zero problems. Price is almost free, maybe it is worth twice this. This is a very deluxe motor home.
When these were sold ORIGINALLY IN 1992 it cost apx $161,000 which would be apx $350,000 today dollars.
It was and still is top of the line. It was built to order on a OSHKOSH CHASSIE custom designed Motorhome chassis, not a converted truck chassis. It rides well and smoothly like a car (but it is big) it does not shake rattle and roll. This is a class A, gas, with a ford 460 and FORD automatic transmission. This is a very solid and dependable pairing, serviced anywhere. no need to wait at a rv place, or pay RV repair prices. IT IS A FORD. I spared no money on this, and never even asked my Shop Owner (you can talk to him) what needed fixing or what it cost, I just wrote the check.
its advantage is it is small, its disadvantage is it is small. It has one fold out couch/bed that sleeps 2 skinny people. We rigged up an additional bed above the front seats when we stayed someplace for more than a few days. BARTH, if you know anything about BARTH RV's, you will know they are super quality, all solid oak all aluminum body including roof, OSHKOSH chassis with disc brakes all around, stops on a dime, turns in small circle, will go 85 if you are not watching the speed, Good tires, good brakes, engine and trans run fine, big water, big waste water, and gas and propane tanks, Generator, heater, hot water, stove, fridge, shower.
We have all manuals and records, list of owners. OAK CABINETRY, doors that don't rattle. FLEX STEEL seats, carpeting under original factory installed plastic protectors and it is NEWand on and on. Draws a lot of interest at RV SHOWS, A LOT. clean clean clean. This is in great condition, it is in MICHIGAN now, WE JUST DROVE IT BACK FROM NEAR Orlando. We never planned on selling it but for us a little bigger would be better, no trades. IT IS NOT RESTORED, IT NEVER HAD TO BEIT IS LIKE NEWORIGINALALL ITS ORIGINAL BEAUTY IS STILL THERE. ALL WOODWORK, SOLID OAK, IS MATCHING, LIKE FINE FURNITURE. ALL ALUMINUM...like an airstream. Its home in Auburn Hills MI 48326. We (80 year old couple, no pets, non smoker) We spent two months in it in LEESBURG FL. It drove 1400 miles back in less than 30 hours with zero problems, we are going to unload it and put it into heated storage and it is for sale. It spent last summer (10 months) in AC STORAGE, stored inside in AC, in florida but we decided to sell it and buy something bigger, (ie 40 ft as we are not going to travel any more) WE CAN SHOW IT, WE ARE close by Royal Oak, MI.
We are buying a bigger, more stationary RV, so selling this. We love it but it is small to live in, we did for two months last winter, other than that just used for trips. Kept inside, heated A/C STORAGE most of its life. This is almost 100% original, it is unmodified. All of the original quality is still there and CLEAN. We have owned it apx 6 years and it is now returned from FLORIDA and in indoor storage. That is an indication of how much we value it and how good it is.
it is far better quality that a a $175,000 Sprinter motor home and this will not depreciate $30,000 the first year, in fact if you keep it nice as we and the few other owners have...it should be worth at least $20,000 10 years from now..(maybe $40,000 in California).
For those who asked it has everything one could expect in a deluxe motor home, Honda
generator, built in furnace, propane hot water, roof top, AC, NEW three burner stove, built in 3 way refrigerator/freezer, big good matching tires, back up camera, directable spotlights, air horn needs fixing, 10,000 trailer hitch, tons of storage space, shower, microwave, 60 gallon gasoline tank, 60 gallon fresh water, 60 gallon gray water, 60 gallon black water. Sorry to see it go but our wandering days are drawing to a close, in our 80's. Start your adventure today!!!
