Rare 1971 Winnebago Chieftain D22C - Factory 413 Big Block - Vintage Luxury Survivor

Ive owned this 1971 Winnebago Chieftain D22C since 1994. Its been a long-term personal project, thoughtfully upgraded over the years with a strong focus on mechanical reliability and practical custom features.

Due to a family situation, I wont be able to complete the final stages, so its being sold as-is at a very fair price. Im looking for a straightforward sale someone who understands what this is, pays, and takes it home (driven or trailered).

• 413 Dodge Big Block professionally torn down and rebuilt

• Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley Street Avenger carb, headers

• MSD ignition system with 8.5mm wires

• Radiator rebuilt; both fuel tanks removed, cleaned, and relined

• Stainless steel kingpins & bushings

• Rebuilt power steering pump

• New brake components and fabricated brake lines

• 7 new Yokohama Geolandar A/T tires on powder-coated wheels

This coach has solid mechanical bones, and Im not asking anyone to take my word for it.

• Rear hydraulic motorcycle lift (modified Tommy Lift, welded steel, wheel chocks)

• Custom front brush guard (also carries spare)

• Hand-built front window visor and rear louvers

• Commercial-grade vinyl flooring

• Mazda front seats and enlarged swiveling passenger seat

• Normal wake-up service after sitting (fluids, brake adjustment, inspection)

• Interior finishing touches (engine cover insulation, front carpet)

• Dinette Seats need upholstery (foam included)

• Original Onan generator has been removed

It should start and run, but brakes will need attention. Plan on trailering unless youre prepared.
