The Forester is in excellent condition, is powered by a 188 horsepower Mercedes Benz turbocharged, V-6 diesel engine and carried on a 3500 Sprinter chassis with nearly new HT2 Firestone Transforce tires on all six wheels. The Forester is exceptionally easy to drive with Hellwig Sway control, a five-speed automatic transmission, and maintains highway speeds while consistently managing between 13 and 14 mpg. It is equipped with a 3.6 KW Cummins Onan propane generator (with 154 hours on the meter) for use when external power is not available.
Inside, the Forester 2401WS boasts a full-length slide-out that provides a spacious and well-appointed interior area that is designed for relaxation with plush furnishings and modern amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, 3-burner propane cooktop, microwave, pantry and plenty of storage space for all your cooking essentials. The forester provides sleeping accommodations for up to six people through the use of a queen- sized bed in the rear, converting the U-shaped dinette in the middle to a bed, and space over the cab.
