. 49,685 documented miles on this van! All original paint in very good to excellent condition, rust free Texas full camper with Extensive Preventative Maintenance work just completed. All glass, upholstery and carpet in excellent condition,. Full Carfax report validating mileage on the van and some service records from prior owners. Power windows, mirrors and door locks are working. Van runs on regular gas (not premium)

Extensive Preventative maintenance work performed with less than 1000 miles since work done by Austin VeeDub.

1- Cylinder head (for stuck valve) removed and serviced.  All Valves and seats ground  with new valve stem seals. One valve  and two injectors replaced.

2-New Cam timing belt, with new tensioner and idler pulleys.

3-New metal impeller water pump (originals were plastic impellers), with new thermostat and thermostat housing.

4-New engine front main seal

5- Various engine sensors replaced

6-All NEW Sanden Air conditioning compressor, expansion valve and drier. Gets very cold.

7-Engine Oil and filter change

8-New VW spec coolant

9-New front brake rotors, brake pads and brake hoses

10-Brake Hydraulic system flushed

11-Fuel tank was drained and cleaned, new fuel pump, new fuel filter

12-New spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor.

13-New serpentine accessory drive belt and related idler pulley.

14-New Secondary Air injection pump, solenoid and check valve.

Other work completed

1-All interior panels were removed and re-dyed because they develop a yellow cast to the gray finish over time (all the Eurovan Campers did this).  I updated the gray color to that used in the later 2001-2003 Eurovan campers.

2- While the interior panels were out, I updated the power converter for the shore power system to a Powermax 4 stage smart converter/charger

3- I also modified the ductwork of the propane heater system to a more efficient insulated single duct (increases the velocity of the heated air, to more readily heat the camper interior)

4-The 3 phase refrigerator/freezer propane section was refurbished with a new burner tip, controller  and sensor.

5-The struts that hold up the kitchen galley lid were replaced with upgraded versions.

6-All of the window shades were replaced with new GoWesty shades.

7-Upper and lower mattresses, carpeting and seating were all extractor  cleaned

8-Go Westy Lift and Level kit for rear suspension

9-GoWesty Rodent block kit for rear flow through vent openings

10-Drivers exterior door handle was replaced.  The original is included and can be repaired by a Stateside Eurovan camper enthusiast.

11-Stock 15 wheels were replaced with a used set of VW original Camper 16 Alloy Wheels.  They came with some older Arizonian radial tires with excellent tread, but they are date coded 2017.  I considered installing new tires (which I recommend) but given I had decided to sell the van once the restoration was completed, and since a new owner might want either off road or on-road tires,....I elected to not install new tires.

12-The original 15 steel wheels , also with mounted tires that have great tread depth but are old, are also included as are the original hubcaps which are in very good to excellent condition.

13- GoWesty replacement antenna

14-Propane tank and protective guard repainted satin black, The protective guard was sandblasted prior to painting.  New Propane tank shut off valve and hoses installed AND diamond plate protective plate fabricated and installed to minimize damage from debris kicked up by the front tire.

15-Poptup crack repaired on drivers side (not a perfect paint match)

16-The Poptop had a couple holes where the hinges rubbed against it, a local automotive upholstery shop hand stitched some matching canvas patches from GoWesty on.  Has a factoryish appearance.

17- Both horns replaced with Fiamm Highway Blaster Horns

18-Headlight upgraded to LED, this Made a HUGE difference.

19-Front and rear bumpers were faded, both were removed and re-finished with SEM Bumper Coater
