Airstream Hunter is delighted to present this 2008 Airstream International CCD 27FB, an iconic travel trailer designed by the visionary Christopher C. Deam. This particular trailer, proudly cared for by its original owners in Gilbert, Arizona, represents one of the best-preserved examples of its kind. 

Few vintage-inspired Airstreams age as gracefully as this one. The all-aluminum body is bright, polished, and free of dents or scrapes, with only minor cosmetic details—a hint of filiform corrosion near a rear light and a small caulking touch-up needed on one skylight surround. Every aluminum panel is original except for the rear bumper (replaced in 2025) and front roadside rock guard (replaced in 2023), both professionally installed.

The three manual Zip Dee awnings—roadside, curbside, and rear—remain in excellent condition. The frame and belly pan are structurally sound, solid, and nearly rust-free thanks to Arizona’s dry climate and covered storage. This trailer’s gleam is the product of regular washing and waxing.

The Christopher C. Deam-designed interior radiates contemporary sophistication, with brushed aluminum walls, sleek cabinetry, and thoughtful use of color and light.

At the front of the trailer, a queen bed with a custom memory foam mattress offers restful sleep beneath panoramic windows. Twin full-height wardrobes provide ample storage for extended travel. Moving aft, the center galley is well-appointed with a three-burner gas cooktop, convection microwave oven, and Dometic 7 cu ft gas/electric refrigerator, all spotless and fully operational. The rear dinette is a design showpiece, surrounded by wrap-around windows that frame 180° views. 

Power systems include a dealer-installed 95W rooftop solar panel, two new Trojan 6V batteries (225 amp hours total, installed January 2025), a 600W inverter, and 55A converter—ideal for dry camping or boondocking. Climate control is provided by a Dometic 15,000 BTU air conditioner with heat strip and a Micro-Air Easy Start for quieter, generator-friendly operation. Heating is a  25,000 BTU furnace.

Plumbing has a 6-gallon gas water heater, fresh (39 gal), gray (37 gal), and black (39 gal) tanks, all original, leak-free, and spotless. A new toilet (2025) and replaced sewer valves (2023). The water pump was replaced once, with a spare included onboard. 

Road ready, it rides on Goodyear Endurance tires installed August 2024, with brakes, bearings, shocks, and axles serviced by a dealer in December 2024. A Blue Ox SwayPro 1500 lb weight distribution hitch and Barker VIP 3500 power jack (both installed 2023) are included.
