THE BACKSTORY
A year ago, my wife and I determined we were not going to allow Parkinsons Disease to sideline us from America's
favorite pastime. PD had, after 12 years, brought her legs to a standstill, but she was still able, with my help, to transfer from chair to wheelchair. So, with a few very special upgrades to a great quality camping trailer, with a
proper floor plan, it became possible for us to hit the road again!

A PERFECT MATCH!
To begin with, my wife could not navigate from a wheelchair up into a full-size pickup truck, but she was able to transfer into our family car. Therefore, we searched for a camper under 8,500 lbs. fully loaded, just about the weight limit for an automobile. I did a ton of research and came up with the perfect match of vehicles, the ORV 19MKS
and a Dodge Durango R/T. Tip: this car has plenty of power and weight to easily handle the RV we fell in love with.
The Durango pulls this size of camper, loaded with almost 80 gallons of fresh water, up the steepest slopes we have ever come across, with power to spare. (we live in Pennsylvania with a ton of hills and mountains to get over).
The 19MKS comes standard with off-road ground clearance, X4 suspension under an integrated A-frame chassis, which will get you safely to most remote sites.

ACCESSIBILITY!
The next hurdle....if you can't walk, how do you get up 3 tall steps into a camper! A company called CoachLift
came to the rescue with their marvelous RV LIFT, a chair driven, up and down by a 12V motor and bolted securely to the side of the camper. This feature is truly the key to this whole entire project. (YouTube shows many videos of how this operates). Maybe you're still able to navigate a few steps that have much shorter 4-inch risers, so you also are in luck, because included with this unbelievable camper is a custom set of aluminum stairs which are completely portable and fold up into a suitcase size that fits right into the storage compartment. This set of stairs is made by RV-Co Manufacturing.

SAFETY AND COMFORT FEATURES!
The 19MKS has a lot of very comfortable features for a smaller RV, such as a large walk-in shower, a nice slide-out
for TV viewing, a queen-size Murphy Bed/Dinette table combo, which opens up the daytime floor space considerably. (the queen mattress is the best combination of soft and firm I have ever experienced) No need to run out immediately and buy an expensive mattress! There is plenty of open floor space for a wheelchair to operate in without bumping into things. A few grab bars have been added to key locations for easy transfers.

TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE THE JOURNEY!
A 32" Samsung QLED TV provides a "virtual window" to the outside world for the disabled person who can't just pop in and out of doors every time they wish. The video for this "window" is provided by 2 outdoor PTZ HD cameras mounted on either side of the camper. This feature greatly lessens that "shut-in feeling" for the one who is handicapped, plus the cameras can be accessed from a smartphone while away from the RV, providing great security. The standard Frosted door window has been replaced with clear glass with built-in pull-down shade.
The stock Jensen TV speaker is replaced with a Yamaha SR-C20A soundbar. A Winegard Air360 system provides dependable Internet via a cellular service plan and also provides your local WIFI. A 5.5 gallon pressure tank has been added to the water system which enables the water pump to relax and stop cycling on and off every 5 seconds, operating just like your water supply at home. Of course, a must-have accessory is the Haloview BTC128 rearview camera, already installed, along with the dashboard wireless 7" monitor. Another reassuring device is the Tymate TM2 wireless tire pressure monitoring of all four camper tires.

POWER PLUS!
Now if all the above is not enough, this camper really shines by sporting a custom upgrade to its stock electrical system. This Off-Grid system uses Victron Energy products to supply 20,000 watt-hours from four 51V Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. The system can be charged from Shore power of course, but also from 1,200 watts of four BougeRV solar panels on the roof, and an additional 1,500 watts from your tow vehicle battery charger while you drive down the road. The solar power source plus DC conversion can easily keep your camper powered up for multiple days at a time without ever having to search for shore power. The heart of this system is a Victron Energy Multiplus-ll inverter/charger along with a Cerbo GX and a Touch-50 monitor.

WATER SUPPLY THAT DOESN'T STOP
What helps tremendously with extended Off-Grid camping are the extra large holding tanks, including 78 gallons
of fresh water, unheard of for this size of RV! All tanks have built-in heaters for cold climates. We camped in sub-freezing temps in complete comfort, thanks to the extra-thick insulated walls (an Outdoors RV Manufacturing hallmark) and a very efficient propane furnace. In fact, this camper is so outstanding in all of the important all-weather comfort areas, it could easily serve as your Tiny Home.

COMPLETE ROAD-TESTED AND PROVEN! LIKE-NEW BUT BETTER!
Consider the fact that this unique "only comes around once" camping trailer has been tested in the real world
and proven, the bugs worked out, and is in PERFECT like-new condition after 2,000 miles of travel. This is a hard one to part with, however we are now looking for a new owner that will appreciate its uniqueness and embrace RV travel once again just when you thought it was over! This camper requires absolutely nothing else for you to purchase. Included are all your camp setup accessories, so all you need is a 2-inch receiver hitch and you'll be completely ready for road adventure once more.
