This Revel is equipped with the sought after ultra-reliable Mercedes Benz V6 diesel engine (later and current year models come with a 4-cylinder engine). The V6 paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission provides plenty of power for off-road adventures and tackling those steep mountain passes in the West. An upgraded suspension provides further comfort and stability in any driving situation.
The Revel is equally at home on city streets or exploring off road. Due to the rigs limited size and maneuverability, it easily fits into a normal sized spot at the grocery store or can climb tight mountain trails. This van is a self-contained unit and can spend days off grid. There is a full bathroom, refrigerator, and kitchen sink. It also has an outdoor shower (great for you surfers and mountain bikers). The full-size bed is on a motorized platform that is raised when not in use and lowered when needed. There is a lithium battery which powers the house and is charged by both a rooftop solar array and a second alternator which tops off the battery as you drive. The van carries a 21-gallon freshwater tank, 21-gallon gray water tank and a 5-gallon Thetford Cassette toilet. Additionally, the van has a Timberline heater for heat and hot water. There is no need to carry propane as the Timberline heater automatically accesses the fuel in the vans tank to power itself. The heater can also use electricity to generate heat when plugged into shore power using the 30A service found at campgrounds.
