The 2023 Aliner Expedition Permanent Bed offers a convenient and comfortable camping experience for those looking to explore the great outdoors in style. With only about 5,000 miles of travel, this camper is practically brand new and ready for its next adventure.

I am the original owner, and I’ve taken great care of this unit. It includes several thoughtful upgrades that make it even more comfortable and versatile than the standard Expedition. The standard marine acid battery has been replaced with a lithium-ion battery for longer life, faster charging, and more reliable off-grid use, though the original battery is also included and can be swapped back if preferred. The permanent bed has been upgraded with a super-thick foam-style queen mattress for maximum comfort, and the original thinner mattress is also available if you’d like to switch back.

Unlike the smaller A-Liner models, the Expedition is wider and roomier, making it especially suitable for taller campers. Both the permanent queen bed and the dinette that converts into a bed are wide enough to comfortably sleep sideways, with plenty of headroom and legroom.

Another advantage of this camper is how quick it is to set up and take down. The folding and unfolding process takes only three to five minutes, and after a little practice it becomes second nature, making arrival and departure at campsites almost effortless.

Inside, you’ll find all the essentials for comfortable camping. The permanent bed means no daily setup hassle, while the kitchenette gives you space to cook meals and brew coffee. There are no holding tanks to deal with, as it uses a cassette-style toilet that can be emptied at any vault toilet or standard restroom, which makes managing it much simpler than traditional systems.

One of the biggest advantages of a trailer this size is its flexibility in camping locations. At just 18 feet, it can easily fit into smaller campgrounds and sites that my 32-foot Greyhawk motorhome cannot access. It tows easily, maneuvers well, and still provides plenty of comfort once you’re set up.

On a personal note, I am selling this camper only because my wife became ill, and we needed to move her into a motorhome for future medical travel. Otherwise, I have truly enjoyed owning this Aliner and hate to part with it. If I could afford to keep both, I would.
