I am selling my Winnebago 22A EKKO because I just turned 80. While my wife and I still like to travel I think it is time to let someone else do the driving. This is a 2022 Winnebago EKKO, it has 53000 miles on the odometer and I am the original owner. This EKKO comes equipped with a 320 amp-hour lithium battery and a 2800 watt ultra quiet gas generator. There are 3 solar panels on the roof of the EKKO that provide 455 watts of solar power. The EKKO has a 13500 BTU AC ducted system that pairs with a Truma VariHeat for four season comfort. The Truma unit provides both instant hot water and very economical heat in the winter. I have been very comfortable while camping at single digits in the winter. The water tanks are all enclosed so this RV is a true four season camper. The EKKO is on an all wheel drive Ford Transit chassis with a GVWR of 11050 lbs. The EKKO has a 3.5 V6 EcoBoost twin turbo gas engine with 310 HP and 400 Lb-FT of torque. The transmission is a 10 speed select shift automatic with several drive modes Please refer to the Winnebago website for more specifications regarding length, height, etc. There is an outside cooking station with a refrigerator/cooler, a two burner unit and a collapsible sink. The EKKO has two awnings; a powered standard patio awning and a 270 degree manual Batwing awning. The full bath has a shower and a dry bath with a 50 fresh water reserve, a 50 gallon dry water tank and a 5 gallon cassette for black water. There is a lot of storage with a pass through compartment at the rear of the vehicle that is lighted and heated. The kitchen has a microwave, a sink, a two burner stove top and a 5.3 cubic foot 12 volt compressor-driven refrigerator/freezer. The bedroom can be arranged as two single beds or a full queen bed. All windows are awning style which means they can be opened when it is raining. These windows also have a locking position which allows a .5 inch opening for ventilation with security.

I found the EKKO to be the ideal RV for two people. We very seldom stay at campgrounds as we have no need for hookups. The EKKO gives a freedom for going where you want to go and when you want to go that is unlike most other RVS. We most often used Harvest Hosts sites because it is saves money and we meet interesting people/businesses. The EKKO is easy to drive on the highway and on rural and gravel/dirt roads. The EKKO can be parked in a regular parking space with a couple feet of overhang as it is just over 23 ft in length. It has plenty of power for hills or when passing other vehicles. I have found the best MPG (13+mpg) when speed is kept to around 65-68 mph. At this speed the transmission is able to stay in the highest gear instead of shifting between several top gears thus providing the best mpg. I have found the EKKO runs very well on regular gas. I have always used all synthetic oil and kept to recommended oil change intervals.
