This is it! If you want a room at the Ritz Carlton that you can take anywhere look no further than the 22 Airstream Atlas. The 22s are highly desirable because they still have the classic Sprinter 6 cylinder diesel engine, unfortunately in 2024 Airstream was forced to switch to four-cylinder engines because Mercedes Benz stopped producing the 6 cylinder Sprinter engine due to environmental pressures from a number of international governments and regulatory bodies. The 22 might be the best Airstream Atlas ever made because in addition to the 6 cylinder engine, you also get the updated technology suite which includes OEM CarPlay, and a host of other modern features that the previous generation did not have.

This unit is even more special because it includes a lithium battery upgrade that makes it equivalent to the E1 package that came at a cost of nearly $15,000. This vehicle has also had consistent service at Airstream of Tampa including a 2024 five star service at an expense over $5000 to go over every nook and cranny of the vehicle. This Airstream also had a recent A service from Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria, Virginia. The Coach has been stored in an air conditioned, climate controlled unit for most of its life and the vehicle does come with a transferable extended warranty. No expense has been spared maintaining this vehicle.

The marriage of the Airstream RV Atlas design with the Mercedes 3500 chassis Alice results in a luxury travel experience in this class C motorhome. The use of the Murphy bed with slide-out results in an adaptable living space. With the slide-out extended and the Murphy bed let down, the space is a comfortable queen size walk-around bed. When the Murphy bed is put away, the remaining leather base can be used as a daybed or can become a comfortable leather sofa with extended leg support by pushing a button. All three configurations can be used with the slide-out extended or retracted.

The 2 leather captain chairs in the Mercedes chassis cab can be rotated 180 degrees if extra seating is required. This results in a seating capacity of 4 with the sofa. All seats and bed configurations have direct visual access to the LED 40 Smart HDTV with soundbar on a power lift. These different configurations illustrate the flexibility of the RV design.

The bathroom is at the rear of the unit and is separated by a sliding door resulting in an isolated roomy space. With the door closed, one has private access to the shower, toilet, sink, mirror, clothes closet, and other storage compartments.
