The 1260W solar panels, 300Ah lithium batteries, and top-of-the-line Victron Multiplus Inverter/Charger, and DC to DC Charger are backed up with a 2kW generator. You always have power available, no matter where you are. The generous payload, fresh/waste water storage and a composting toilet let you take everything you need to live comfortably and last for longer without visiting dump stations.

You could spend a lot of time and money buying a 5th wheel, setting it up yourself with comprehensive off-grid capability, then looking for the right tow vehicle and it still wouldn't be as good as this one. So why would you? We have been towing this rig full-time for the last year with a gorgeous 2019 GMC 3500 Denali Long Bed Duramax truck, which is the perfect tow vehicle. Ideally, they should be sold together.The 2017 Starcraft Solstice Lite is a high-quality 5th wheel RV.

The 287RLS floor plan features a large living area with a sofa, dinette, entertainment center/remote workstation, and a new A/C unit. The large opposing slides in the lounge create a generous living and entertaining space.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a large 12V refrigerator, wine fridge, gas cooktop/stove, microwave, chilled/filtered water tap, ample storage space, and a large countertop and island bench for meal preparation.

The bedroom offers a cosy retreat with a comfortable full queen-size bed, a wardrobe slide, mood lighting, new A/C unit, and additional storage.

The bathroom includes a shower, sink, a composting toilet and washing machine.

Externally, there is a storage locker holding a ladder, and every 15A, 30A, and 50A cable and connector needed to connect to any power supply.

The RV has been extensively upgraded with quality components to provide the owners with fantastic off-grid capability explore where you want to go and avoid expensive RV parks.

Of particular interest, for boondockers, are the generous 300Ah of Life-Blue lithium batteries which can be charged from the massive 1260W of solar panels; or the flexible Victron Multiplus (15A, 30A or 50A inputs); or the Victron 50A DC to DC Charger; or the 2kW Champion generator; or even a combination of those for faster charging. There is always an option for topping up the batteries. You can even run an A/C directly from the batteries.

The standard toilet has been upgraded to a composting style toilet, which saves water and means there is no black water to deal with. The original black water tank is re-purposed to increase the grey water storage. The freshwater tank holds 71 gallons - enough to last us for up to nine days off-grid without refilling.

A five-stage on-board water filtration system delivers as much filtered water as you need, and there is a water chiller you can activate on those hot days. Unlimited fresh tasting water is better for the environment and for your wallet. We haven't had to pay for any drinking water.

A washing machine and portable clothes dryer helps you to avoid expensive laundromats or paying for RV-park clothes washing.

The clever interior design allows you to cook, live, and sleep in the unit without needing to extend the slides. This is great for those quick overnight stops where you want to be more discreet.
