RV Description

Hello! Thank you for your interest in this wonderful machine. This was a dream for us that just ran out of steam. This Airstream spent its early years in Hollywood as a movie set trailer before making its way to Texas. We poured a lot of love into this, but to be quite honest, I learned along the way that while Im quite handy, Im just not mechanically minded. We did lots of work, but in the end, we let it sit too long and, currently, neither the new generator (2019 Onan 7k with less than 70 hours) nor the engine (chevy 454) will start. The tires are 10 years old and will need to be replaced. The only gauges that work are the speedometer, temp, and air pressure (no gas gauge). The appliances all worked when last used, but its been years since weve tested them. If you have the engine know how, I truly believe this could be a wonderful addition to your family. We called her #8 for the lightly visible number on the back. As we move to Iowa in just a couple weeks (10/23/25) its time for us to say goodbye and pass the dream onto someone who can take better care of her.

An amazing find, a very rare Airstream 325 Motor Home. 454 chevy V8 with aftermarket Banks Power Pack - a $2,000 add on to boost power, toque and fuel economy.

While the title and odometer says 19200, this is not true. From the maintenance records and vin, it looks to me like it's around 70K, not less than 20K. I can say this as back in November of 2002 the odometer was replaced and I have a record of the prior mileage. But I can tell you the body, frame, interior, engine and drive train are in very good shape. And I'm making improvements to it all.

Mid bath layout separate shower, toilet rooms, twin bed in rear, has convection/micro wave oven, propane oven, and 4 burner stove. Second bed/couch is motor operated for transition. Has hydraulic level system. Full maintenance records. Exterior awnings in very good shape.

New front shocks, lower ball joints, driver side crank assembly (SuperSteer), coil springs, alignment, brake calipers, and master brake cylinder. Add Centramatic automatic wheel balancing system on all three axles added. All of these make this drive, ride and brake like a new modern car.

The radio replaced with a very nice Jension system with full color backup camera, Sirus XM, GPS road maps, etc. and new speakers. New exterior electronic controlled and heated mirrors. New circuit breakers, 4 stage converter/charger and other improvements in electronics. New ceiling high quality exhaust fans. The original B/.W backup camera also still works - very cool.

New LED headlights, many other exterior lights replaced with LED and pretty much the entire 12 volt wiring system has been replaced.

New starter motor. New oil pan seals, new transmission seal, new alternator and other fixes or replacements to make this RV safer and much more reliable. Entire front panel dash board has pretty much been completely rewired along with most wiring underneath the chassis leading to back lights and other components like the generator, etc.

New ceiling fans, and roof seams sealants.

This really is a classic Airstream with major significant maintenance to the core components done. I've invested well over 25K in this classic done by a great Mobile RV tech group over the last 2+ years.
