This 24D is the MOST popular Winnebago plan in the last ten years for many reasons! First, is the kitchen! Nearly the entire left side of the unit is counter space. You can cover the sinks for additional space, but when using your two very deep stainless steel sinks, it's by far better than even the newer models which have zero counter and one smaller sink. The fridge and freezer are huge and the pull outs for the full size pantry can fit 2 weeks worth of food for longer trips.

You have an amazing diesel engine along with the Onan Generator that can run the entire unit and is not so loud that you can't think while it's running. We dry docked at many national parks and had no issues with NEEDING to plug in. You also have a solar panel up top with expanding capabilities as well that allows daytime activity in the unit without needing to be plugged in or generator going.

Being able to set up in 5-7 minutes from time of pulling in, to literally being FULLY SET is the best part. Park it, auto-level it, and then the entire left side pull-out opens up the floorplan brilliantly. At night you simply push a button for the murphy-bed which is a queen size bed for two. Ample storage, both above head in cabinets and below each seated area. We never felt like we had limited space when traveling for even two weeks time.

I hate losing this unit as it's been amazing. In regards to recalls: this unit has a BRAND NEW awning (therefore past the recall one) All maint for the chassis has been done on time with Mercedes, including oil changes, and service appts as required. We have kept this unit in covered storage space since day one, and only taken it out about 10 times in last 2 years. Orig mftr price on vehicle is $212k w/ options (have sheet for this) and it was purchased NEW. I'm the only owner. We did have work done on the housing door due to known issues with these doors, and now it's perfect and tight and locks properly.

The furniture and fixtures in this unit are to the highest quality of yacht level materials and design. The thing I wanted most when buying one of these units was durability with kids and family and Winnebago is similar to that of Airstream in making a unit that should last the rides, and the years. You could literally take this out on your first trip without adding anything besides your clothing if you want an all in package. I do wish someone had taught me how to RUN my first RV without having to watch a thousand youtubes, so if you would like a crash course on all the cool features of this RV I would be willing to spend a few hours with the buyer to take them from soup to nuts to save you a lot of time in learning this units incredible features.
