Flawless for its age! We were SO fortunate to purchase this Roadtrek from Petite Auto and RV just north of Chicago! This family-owned dealership has been in business for decades and is TOP notch. Nothing was overlooked as they find rare diamonds in the ruff and then take care of any potential mechanical items to ensure the buyer will have no issues as much as possible. This has definitely been the situation for us. It is no fabrication to state that you can drive this unit to California and back completely worry free! So to start with the long list - new tires! New house and chassis batteries. Onboard Generator with low hours. The fridge in the unit was not operating to the family's satisfaction, so they replaced it - brand new before we took delivery! New brakes, rotors, pads even the brake lines with replaced just to be on the safe side. New transmission fluid, coolant flushed and replaced, oil and filter changed of course and to top it off the serpentine belts were replaced even though the belts appeared in good shape the family replaced them to avoid future headaches for the buyer (tell me one other dealer who does this - anyone?) All parts are genuine GM OEM parts nothing generic. This was done the right way all the way! I challenge anyone to look at the reviews online - I did the research, and no one had any gripes regarding their experience with Ed and his brother and his Dad - terrific individuals. SO why are we selling.... we are reverting back to a travel trailer to accommodate hosting our son and his Fiancé and because the Roadtrek was built for one or two travelers we can't fit the four of us. Did I mention this model has four Captain's chairs - perfect for tailgating events! Seatbelts to accommodate seven people. There is a bathroom onboard with a sink and toilet. As for the shower you stand in the middle of the van and pull the curtain all around for privacy as the water goes down into a trap in the floor to the holding tank which is a terrific design by Roadtrek. The engine compartment is SO clean you could eat off of it. This Roadtrek was always stored inside and it's more than obvious looking at the exterior condition. Solid wood cabinets with truly neat storage options some hidden you have to see in person. One of the most important considerations is the Chevy Vortec 6.0 Liter V8 Gas engine. With 78,000 miles it has a TON of shelf life remaining. This engine has been known to last over 300,000 miles. The Roadtrek can tow up to 7,500 pounds. Just try this with the Dodge Promaster or Mercedes Diesel - not happening! The Chevy 3500 in a one-ton chassis that is NOT a cutaway so truly solid from an integrity standpoint. We have kept this unit in inside storage since we purchased it. We are the third owners. Come see it for yourself and we are open to reasonable offers.
