RV Description

This 2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500 170ext has been converted to a camper van. With a mileage of 164,000 miles, “Miss Daisy” has been on the road for quite some time, showcasing its durability and reliability. The Dodge Sprinter is known for its spacious interior and versatile design, making it a popular choice for a conversion van because it has plenty of room to stand up in and to store a couple of bikes or motorcycles in the "garage" in the back of the van.

The Sprinter 2500 170ext boasts a sleek and aerodynamic exterior, and the diesel-run engine is designed to provide maximum efficiency and performance on the road, with a high level of quality and craftsmanship. Inside, the Sprinter offers a comfortable and ergonomic driving experience, with ample legroom and modern amenities to enhance the overall journey.

The van's large cargo space allowed for a great (albeit rudimentary) conversion which includes a kitchen, seating with table, almost-king-size bed (above the garage) and two solar panels on the roof. The kitchen includes a sink with spray faucet, 2-burner propane stove, and a compact refrigerator along with nice counter space. The brand-new water heater supplies the shower that works off the back of the van, and works great after a long bike ride or hike! The water heater and propane tank are in the "garage", as well as the two in-house batteries that are charged by the solar panels. Being the extended version van, there is plenty of storage for kitchen and personal items under and above the kitchen counter and above the sink, as well as under the two benches.

Under the hood, the Dodge Sprinter is equipped with a powerful engine that delivers impressive performance and fuel efficiency (18-24 mpg depending on whether you are highway or mountain roads). "Miss Daisy" has been well-maintained since I have had her with regular oil changes. I am only the second owner! Although, she could use a little TLC on the outside as there are some rust stains and the rear left light cover is cracked, but still functioning.
