"Miss Daisy" is a Dodge Sprinter van converted to a camper with 264,000 miles. Although she has been on the road for some time, she had been pampered and still runs smooth and strong. The extended version has a spacious interior and versatile design, making it a popular choice for a conversion van because it has plenty of room to stand up, to store bikes or motorcycles in the "garage" in the back, to cook, eat and sleep. This diesel-run engine gets great mileage (18-22mpg).

Pros:

* Extended 170" wheel base (274" length total) and 107" high.

* Two rewired solar panels with two new house batteries.

* New Eccotemp L5 1.5GPM tankless water heater for outdoor shower

* New water pump

* Kitchenette with sink, new spray faucet, 2-burner stove and fridge.

* propane heater with new thermostat.* * Removable table, 2 benches, king-size bed and storage

* Passenger side Captain's chair on swivel.

* New windshield.

* Excellent heavy duty tires.

* Bed is 66.5" wide x 80" long: wider than a queen, and as long.

Cons:

* Rust spots from a leak in the kitchen sink (fixed leak).

* Solar panels are operational but at a reduced capacity due to age.

* Propane for heater and water heater is stored in the van. Needs to be secured to the outside or properly vented. (I keep doors open when cooking or taking a shower).

* There is no connection between two house batteries and chassis battery.

* Fridge is missing shelving.
