RV Description

The 2007 Coachmen Cross Country 389DS is a 40ft Class “A” Diesel pusher motorhome that combines luxury with functionality. I have a clear title in hand and I am reducing the current fair market price of $52,900 to $49,900 for a quick sale. With low mileage, (approximately 46,300 miles) excellent mechanical condition and attractive appearance, this RV is an outstanding value. The exterior of the RV boasts sleek lines and modern stylish design, making it stand out as a vehicle to enjoy and be very proud of. The interior is spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities that would provide very comfortable journeys.

This vehicle is particularly desirable because it was manufactured in 2007 so the product named DEF is “NOT”required for this vehicle.  “DEF” is a fluid that is added to newer diesel engines by law and to keep from harming the newer diesel engines. The“DEF” additive became a mandatory requirement in RV diesel engines soon after this Coachman Cross Country was manufactured. In model year 2010, the EPA implemented even stricter rules that led to the widespread adoption of DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) systems using Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). DEF increases the cost to operate the RV. I typically reach nearly 10 miles per gallon and can be filled with Diesel fuel from either side of the vehicle for great convenience.

—refrigerator/freezer that runs on LP gas during travel

or electric when 50 amp shore power is available.

—Living room couch that converts into a queen size bed

—cabinets (lots of storage)

—Two roof mounted AC units in coach to keep you cool in the summer.

— Large double Cedar closet with twin sliding mirror doors

—Many cabinets and drawers for lots of storage

—shower

—Ceramic toilet is located in a separate room across from the shower to provide convenience and privacy. This room also contains a large linen closet and storage area

Extended road trips or full-time living would be easy to accomplish with the Coachmen Cross Country 389DS. You get significant living space in this 40 foot long vehicle, especially when the two automatic slide outs are extended. Level stabilizing jacks with Automatic actuation makes the room very comfortable and stable. The large windows let in plenty of natural light to provide panoramic views of your surroundings. A brand new Windshield and door window has just installed so your view is especially clear views when touring, when it is most needed. New Windshield wipers for both sides were recently installed to complement the view even in stormy conditions. Two large awnings provide shade and rain protection for the majority of the passenger side and patio area of the RV. A one piece roof, recently completely pressure washed, assures there are "no" potential leaks that could damage the RV.

Driving this motorhome is a pleasure, thanks to its pneumatic suspension, powerful 330hp Cummins diesel engine with Allison transmission. This type rig is far superior to the gas engine "A" Class models. Driving stability, smooth handling and increased torque from the diesel engine are particularly important when towing an automobile or trailer and while driving in the mountains. The Cummins diesel engine is designed to typically perform for 300,000 miles and much more. The easy start Onan diesel generator with low running hours, draws from the same diesel fuel tank as the Cummins engine and is very dependable.

This RV also has an engine exhaust brake that will slow down the RV when you actuate the switch.  The engine brake protects the RV brake pads from wearing out and over heating on steep mountain down slopes. New front brakes and the pneumatic system also make this large vehicle easy and safe to handle. Whether you're cruising down the highway or navigating winding mountain roads, you'll feel confident behind the wheel of this well-built RV.

Overall, the 2007 Coachmen Cross Country 389DS is a great choice for anyone looking for a high-quality Class “A” diesel pusher motorhome.
