RV Description
2001 Forrest River 5th wheel in great condition. Excellent for Hunting Camp or remote worksite housing.
Capacity to sleep 9 persons.
Single 14 ft slide on the roadside.
In 2016 the original vinyl roof membrane and decking were removed, new ½ OSB roof decking and a seamless butyl rubber roof membrane installed. Replaced 15 in wheels with 16 in G614 tires, added Dexter EZ Ride equalizers. Also added additional thermal insulation to roof and walls during renovation so it stays cool in summer and warm in winter. Roof A/C, propane water heater replaced also. Repainted the entire RV. Battery replaced in late 2023. Added some additional electrical capacity (separate from inverter) with 30-amp receptacle in kitchen area and outside receptacles. Front and rear BAL stabilizers.
Hydraulic slide cylinder rebuilt 2424.
